  1. The leather point for this machine is 16x2 ,.which we have in stock. You'll be able to sew thinner wallets or checkbook covers on this machine & a teflon foot will help he leather slide through easier.
  2. @Dantan I have 7 boxes of these in stock in white.
  3. No,get a used Singer 111w,Consew 225,226,Juki 562 or 563 & you'll be alot happier & do a better job of sewing than this one can. This was made to sew clothes using thin thread.
  4. @Gerald WhitehurstJust above the foot is the stitch length adjuster, loosen the screw & slide it down for a longer stitch.
  5. Great video,I'll add this one;Birth of a Sewing Machine - YouTube
  6. Yes,Sir that is a great price,I'd get it myself but it's a drive for me too,it's not in the pic but I do have the bobbincase for it.
  7. We stock this nut,you could borrow the one off the bobbin winder to try the machine & if you need anymore more parts, needles or thread order it all @ once.
  8. Don't worry about it,It's the normal pressure coming from the resistance of the spring for the outside foot lifting up when the inside goes down.
  9. Get a small screw (10/32) 1" long with a nut & wind bobbins with a drill.
  10. Yes,you shouldn't have any problems with #14 needles & 46 thread,if you do come back here & we'll help you fix it.LOL!
  11. The Singer 211 has a smaller handwheel making it harder to slow down than the other 2 & do to the design of it you can't install a larger pulley on it,for this reason & the fact that a few of the screws for it aren't available anymore would steer me towards one of the others. They both have larger bobbins too.The 167 should have a rubber belt in it,if it's cloth don't buy it.
  12. We can still get the handwheel & shaft for this model.
  13. If you turn the knob down lower than 660 it will lose power BUT will go slow @ 660 or above you just need to push lightly with your foot & the should go down to 100 rpm as long as the belts aren't too tight.
  14. Hey,looks pretty good. The easiest thing to do is get a larger wheel on the reducer so you have at least a 4-1 reduction,5-1 would even be better.Larger handwheels this shaft size are hard to find.
  15. Why wouldn't a standard LR needle for a 441 work?
  16. We used to sell Econosews & I checked the only machine that comes close to that model# is a 727-5 which is the same as a Consew 205RB here's a manual for it LMK if it's the correct one or not.If not posting a pic will help.. Consew205RB.pdf
  17. I asked them 10 years ago & the minimum was 10,000 BUT they were bought out by Groz-Beckert a couple yrs ago & things may have changed.
  18. @AlZilla Just so you know it's a light duty machine that just has bottom feed in it.
  19. Yes,it's a double needle model 22,single needle of this type is model #21,the model #12 has a shorter arm & doesn't have this type of slide plates. Here's a parts list for this machine. Singer_22W1,_W110.pdf
  20. @AlZilla Looks like a Singer model #21(forerunner of 111w) to me.Great pics of everything BUT the front!!LOL!! Ask them to turn it around & see if it has a ag on it & maybe another pic or 2 will help us.
  21. Yes,it should have reverse.
  22. More info on the different 111w models. You'll find the 111W155 has the highest lift & longest stitch length. Singer 111w Class Machine Brochure-1.PDF
  23. All the screws on this machine loosen counterclockwise.
  24. I know it's too late BUT never ever ship a machine with the wheel on it!The slightest little hit at an angle to the wheel puts alot of force on the sfaft it & will bend it everytime. Many times UPS refuses to pay a claim like this IDK what Fed Ex will do since we don't use them. Are both of the screws loosened on the hub?Take both screws all the way out & use a screwdriver holding onto the rod under the top cover & you should be able to spin the wheel while pulling towards you should spin it off.Once you get it off get a thick wall piece of pipe with an inside diameter of the shaft & you can straighten the shaft, you'll need to find the high spot of the bend ,put the pipe on bend it down, put the wheel back on,spin it to check the wobble & keep repeating the process until it's straight,I've fixed many this way. It's alot easier than pulling the shaft.
  25. @maggieljThe "Special Edition" was another sellers idea & he sold them for $500.00 more(the pin striper charged $350.00), I never sold them I didn't feel it was worth it since it'll probably rub off in use, most of my customers don't want to spend no more than they have to.
