  1. Anything else on the model plate? The 1445 was replaced by the 1425 machine. Great machine. Foot lift was 16mm as far as I can determine. Made both a B and C class. This machine has back tack, foot lift and trim functions. I have a operations manual and mechanics manual but no parts list. The feet are funny. 1245 feet will not fit it. You can get feet for it from Kwok Hing in Singapore. 134-35 needle system.. I think stitch length was 6mm max. Any 900 number in model plate is a special function like trimming, etc. glenn
  2. Guy on eBay in Lithuania has a lot of Pfaff parts. What are you looking for specifically. glenn
  3. Answer to both questions is yes It normally touches the needle just before the hook gets there. glenn
  4. That post about 13-15" high? You need a bobbin cover but without the front and back cover plate, no way to keep them on. Could be a great machine!! glenn
  5. Ok change to #19 or #21 needle. Take thread out of machine and check the entire thread path for burrs or slots worn into thread guides. Carefully rethread machine. Take bobbin out and gentle pull on the thread in it so see how much tension is on the bobbin . Check the bobbin tension spring for grooves worn in it. Sew a few trial stiches on scrap and lets see what you got. Once we get it sewing good forward, then we will work on the back stitch. Also, check the hook distance from the new needle and the timing on the hook to the needle. glenn
  6. Looking at your picture, needle is in backwards. Scarf of needle needs to be on the right side.
  7. What problems? glenn
  8. Yep. Hitler sized plant in 1932 and turned it into bayonet factory. Allies bombed in 1941 i believe and destroyed everything. Never rebuilt to build shoepatchers. glenn
  9. Singer 111W155 Max. thread to use on machine is #138. You will have problems w trying to run #207. glenn
  10. Got to be something in thread patch or burr on the hook. Check those areas. glenn
  11. Replace the clutch motor with a one piece servo. Machine will run better. I would also put a new top on the table. You got a great deal. Make the changes and you will have an even better set up and machine. glenn
  12. Can we get pics of the stand? glenn
  13. No one is currently making parts for the 29K51-56 series. You need following: drive gear and pinion screw, following gears, drive racks, studs, cover plates, cover plate screws. Which parts are you looking for? I believe the gears and racks could be made with an EDM machine. Just need someone to step up and make parts. There is a demand for them, trust me. glenn
  14. Your machine was made in 1986 according to the model plate. Nice find. I would do some touch up painting on it. Just me. Look clean. Absolute steal of a deal. Get the other butterfly wing. You will not regret it. glenn
  15. The stop on the take up spring looks to high. Set it at about 9 o'clock. Then re do the tensions on the top and bobbin case. See if that helps. I would not resell it. Great looking machine. glenn
  16. The best one made! Shows signs of a lot of paint wear. 20 or 30 model? . I rebuild them so it would repaint the balance wheel. You have manuals? I have the mechanics manual for the machine. Is it head only or did it come with a stand? First one I have seen made by Textima in an off white color. Normally it was a silver grey hammer tone color. Nice grab!!! You have needles and bobbins? Need more pics of the machine from different angles. If you contact Landis in Quebec, they are the Claes dealers. Should have the other butterfly wing you are missing. glenn
  17. Yes you can. But why.? I have been sewing on plain machines since the 1960's. Decades of using plain jane machines. Starting using machines with toys in 2005. Juki 2210-7, 1610-7 post. One you have then, you do not want to go back to a plane janes. Yes, they are sometime hard to set and learn. But the results are well worth it. glenn
  18. Contact Claes in Germany and see who are dealers in the UK glenn
  19. Fulcrum will do you no good unless you can get the saddle fixed where it is broken. That is what you screw the adjustment screw in for the fulcrum. glenn
  20. Bobbins can easily made. or larger bobbins turned down. glenn
  21. Lower back part of saddle looks like a part is broke off. glenn
  22. The saddle is a cast piece. Not going to be easy to find. Do you know if Consew or anybody copied the machine? Parts list part number is #203504. Need to see if any company copied it. glenn
  23. Looking to see if anyone knows where you can get parts for a Landis 3 besides Randall Campbell in Texas. Know that Keith Palmer is no longer in it, I have person with a Landis 3 looking for some parts. Thanks in Advance for your time. Glenn Miller
  24. No Bob. Not available most places anymore. glenn
