    Cool, you have a nice design ! I think if you just pull the lace out a few holes you could get enough slack to twist or untwist those few that are a problem. Then all you have to do is tighten and relace a couple holes. No need to rebuild. Maybe?

    I've never tried it but I wonder if one of the three sizes of Perma-Lock needles would work for your micro cord?
