  1. Ouchie! Hello, my name is Scoobie, and I’m a cheap rat b...... Still very cool though. I use an eight prong, diamond head chisel. Your heads seemed farther apart, but thinner and more rounded. You obviously hand stitch, are you having any problems getting both needles through the holes, or do you open the holes with a fid after making them? I like small, close stitches better then big, loopy stitches. How many stitches per inch do you get with your new chisel?
  2. Mad skills!
  3. i’ve been told not to call guy stuff pretty, but, hey, very pretty! Good lines, functional, nice! Beautiful stitching
  4. Yes. The resolene will make it shiny and plastic-y. I’m not sure what you could use to seal it, all I have ever heard is buff, buff, buff, until it comes out clean. Think of it as an upper body work-out? I will ask tomorrow, the guys I work with have, between them, almost 100 years of experience.
  5. Nice job!

  12. I would think 4-5 oz, maybe lighter, depending on how soft you want the cover to be. If you want a firm, solid cover, then use heavier. If you want a cover that you can fold and sew to fit, that may not be as solid, but will be softer to the touch, go lighter.
  13. Yes! Please spill! The double colors are great!

  16. The guys I work with say Tandy only sells real leather, cow, pig, goat, sheep. Right now we have skate and snake as well. We just got in elastic stuff and paper braids for bag handles though, and earring posts and wires.
