Okay, so, I had a lady call in saying she had a couch that was aniline leather, and had bad staining. She had researched a bit and found that a “neutral ph soap” was advised. She didn’t know what that was. So she called. I didn’t know what that was, so I researched it. The very sparse info I found said that dove and neutragena were neutral ph soaps. ...neutragena is glycerine. Saddle soap is glycerine. Saddle soap is neutral ph? Are all elephants pink? And after she has soaped up her couch, what should she put on it to keep if soft and supple?

Beautiful cougar! -
You can glue the pounds board on the back of the quartz, it saves a little space, and it’s right there whichever you need. Your wife can drive the car, you drive the RV.

Very nice! I going to try and make a dopp kit and an overnight bag for my husband, after I finish my purse and gloves and belts and coasters and hat and...and...and... Does it really ever end? -

I’ve been using Leather Weld. I can rip the welded parts apart by main force, but they don’t just pull apart easily.

Dye job?

See, now, I’ve been hearing about pooled oil in Tandy’s. The way I hear it, you put strips of dye in a pool of oil and drag the leather through it creating streaks. One gentleman says he is dying with koolaide. I haven’t heard back yet except that it made the leather very hard. -
Cute as a bug!

I am really excited about my spool now! Cigar is going to look very good on cinnamon deer skin gloves! Lol! I once had a guy from ... the coast, ask me how much trouble I had with all the stampedes. Another about toilets, and another guy tell my husband that he spent 3 weeks practicing on gravel, because “you don’t have concrete there, right?” Hahahahahaaa! Hollywood has a lot to answer for.

I love your paisleys! Did you do them by hand, or is this part of the kit pattern?

Padfolio #3
ScoobyNewbie replied to Rossr's topic in Purses, Wallets, Belts and Miscellaneous Pocket Items
Oh, good! Somebody I can ask! I’ve been told that the fieblings oil dye fades. Is this true, or am I mixing up the oil with the alcohol dyes? Or are they both pretty stable? What are the benefits to oil, alchohol and water based dyes? And the problems? -
I don’t see any problem with your second version. The stitching looks fine. And your zipper is awesome!
