  1. Its a great concept and wouldn't be hard to build if a guy have a metal lathe. I wonder if it would turn as well on leather as it does on paper, it would sure help those with arthritis or other problems im sure.
  2. LMFAO common humanity talk coming from an ex soldier of a country that throughout history has subjugated almost every other country on the planet by force and firearm, pretty hypocritical of you to even try and tout how your country has saved lives. Sorry pal we all understand why you and your politicians would want the lowly citizen to be unarmed.
  3. here is mine lol bamboo shaft, its sustainable ! and a custom cork handle. Testing is ongoing as there is a loss of acceptable targets i may need to shorten the swatter a bit its kind dangly.
  4. I'm glad you don't live here. as most in the UK any real understanding of our Bill of Rights is pretty much non existent. I think mainly because it was the British government that was the stimulus for it. Your opinion doesn't hurt a bit friend because it really means nothing. Yes people are evil and not having a weapon doesn't change that fact as a world class special forces elite you probably understand full well it doesn't take a gun to be evil or to do evil to another person. But this is to far off topic and i wont talk about it anymore as it wont settle anything in the world. Good luck to you friend and please stay on topic so this thread isn't closed.
  5. i was interested till i saw that adult supervision was required lol. I work alone. the design is nice but i think its just to lightweight for leather, says it wont cut human skin so buying it for cutting cow skin would be a gamble imo. now if it were metal and you could apply more controlled downward pressure like a regular swivel knife.
  6. there was a guy on here did something very similar. He did a dragons eye if i remember right.
  7. There's plenty of logic in your reasoning i wish you all the good luck friend.
  8. Thats the bamboo i was thinking about, maybe we need to have a flyswatter building competition lol.
  9. the cleaner is equal parts water, alcohol, and window cleaner/ windex make sure the window cleaner has no ammonia. after painting wipe out your paint cup best as you can, then add a bit of cleaner and hold you r finger over the spray nozzle and shoot the gun, it will bubble back through the paint cup and clean it then dump that refill and spray it through till clean. it may take a few times but only uses an oz or so.
  10. No i sell locally mostly by word o mouth now there are also a couple consignment shops i put stuff in. lol, i sell all kinds of stuff, wood work, knives and leather goods mostly. But i'm not trying to make a living just adding to a retirement. It really sucks to have major companies put people in the situation we have now.
  11. Thanks! i use a 5 gallon bucket called my garbage can, and some homemade cleaner, found the recipe online, its not a big deal to clean at all some folks here buy a few of the cheap airbrushes and use them for specific stuff like dyes or finishes.
  12. but , but , but thats inhuman, or so we are told.lol
  13. So now i guess its up to you if you continue to do business with a company that doesn't believe in the Bill of rights or your rights as a US citizen. I know I've lost money but dumped Fakebook because of it never used etsy.
  14. bamboo would work well for the handle, then maybe a flap of leather that wraps around the rod then that would be wrapped tightly with thread or string. What no open borders?
  15. it sure puts down the dye nice and even you wont be disappointed at all. If you have the compressor you are over half way there. One thing i did learn from this site is to use low pressure i use about 5 /10 lbs now and its amazing.
  16. lol yea should have asked how it works.
  17. thanks yes they do especially in the sunlight. I should have taken it outside but its still a secret lol.
  18. Thanks! i airbrush in my room, I dont do a great lot of work though so its not a real problem, some folk make an airbrush station with a ventilation system, ive seen them made out of cardboard and a computer fan lol. I have a basic paashe air brush and a harbor freight compressor. The compressor about $150 the air brush about $50 of course you can go higher or lower on both.
  19. Well only one more birthday to go this year lol. A sketch book cover and pencil set for my number three daughter. I airbrushed it black then went over it lightly with some blue, green , and purple iridescent paint. Inside is chocolate pig suede.
