Yes, acrylics will freeze. But unless you are having them shipped this isn't an issue. Once it is applied and dry, freezing isn't a problem.

There is no such number as 'enuf'. My wife told me I have enuf rifles. I laughed for a long time at that one.

I assume these are the 'rough on both sides' splits. The only use I've found for them is to thicken lighter leather. They have no structural strength.

Red Wings we have in great abundance. Most all the roadside ditches have cattails and they are full of the RWs. We have a few Yellow Headed Blackbirds, but they are more common northeast of here.

Personally I don't use ANY of the acrylic garbage on my leather. Nor do I put varnish on good wood. But you choose to use it, fine. But acting like a petulant child when a dozen people have recommended M&G as opposed to the same thing in a different bottle just makes you look foolish. With that, I will put you and your petulance on the Ignore list. Life is too short to deal with pigheaded foolishness.

And copping an attitude gets you put on the 'Ignore' list. These people have a couple hundred years combined experience. When you ask folks a question maybe listen to what they tell you. And for the record, I don't know of ANYTHING that is 'forever' like you are looking for.

No, absolutely not. But then I do not use nylon or polyester threads or put acrylic finishes or aints on leather. Nor do I use a sewing machine. Oddly, my life is not diminished because of that. And yes, There is fish leather.

You CAN stamp and tool it, just as other veg tan. But it will be much harder to see your tracing and guide lines.

So here is a question about vegan leather. After they skin the vegans, is it chrome tanned or veg tanned?

For the record, I just use denatured alcohol for reducing. I've even used 99% isopropyl. Either one gives fine results. Also, screw the cap on the bottle really tight and shake the stuffing out of it. Mix it up really well.

You do not say whether you are hand or machine stitching. Two totally different critters.
