That's cool, I was curious to see how the sections were gonna be combined into final notebook cover. I like it. I want to make (at some point) a leather cover for my range book when I've working out reloading powder charges. Something along these lines would work well.

Thank you very much! It was a little daunting. I did a couple trial runs of the leaves before attempting it on a holster. -
Here's my latest. I put some Oak Leaves on a holster.

That's a good looking design. That could also be adapted to be used as a box for guitar/mandolin picks, or any other small objects.

oh wow, that's horrible. There's probably no fixing that without just power sanding the whole room. I accidentally sloshed some vinegaroon on the carpet over the weekend. I instantly dumped a box of banking soda on it. Thankfully the carpet must be all man made fibers, cause it didn't turn it black. I certainly had a few minutes of panic hoping it doesn't turn black.

Wow, that is cool. I dig it. Note to self: Gotta go down to the creek and see if I can find me a monitor lizard.

I had to do some googling to look up what an acrylic dye is. "What is acrylic leather dye? Fiebing's Acrylic Dye is a long lasting, strongly covering leather paint for redyeing already dyed leathers. It allows you to dye dark leathers a lighter shade. It can also be used for painting patterns on smooth leather. I think that since its closer to a paint, its sitting more on the surface of the leather which is why a resist might have stronger results, than when you are using oil based dyes..

I recently picked up a Flexcut Mini-Pelican Style Carving Knife. It works real good making tight turns. Its similar to a clicker knife in blade shape, but the fixed blade isn't replaceable, so you have to sharpen it regularly.

A quick little project, putting suggestions to use. 1 old pair of jeans, and a pile of pennies. That did the job. Appreciate the suggestions!. -
Thank you sir!

Yea, it could be adapted for a lot of uses. I've just been wanting to run my camera off a powerbank so it doesn't die so fast. For taking photos, the regular battery lasts a very long time. When you try to run video, it eats batteries quick.

I'm finding uses for some leather scraps. I've been needing a way to mount an external battery pack on my tripod for my SLR. Quick and simple. There's just a flap coming down from the center post. I cut a whole where the post runs through the flap. Then,I made a simple pouch for the power bank battery , and I attached a strap that also wraps around a tripod leg. I used a snap so it can detach from the leg. Works pretty slick. I'll make a few more to give my go-pro cameras external power. Those go-pro batteries always seem to die when I'm not looking.

That's a good clean design. Well played. I really like that.
