Guys & gals I'm looking to add another sewing machine to my arsenal of tools. I got a Cobra class 4 & while I can "dumb it down" for 138 thread & lighter materials. I would like to add another machine that can be setup for the lighter thread & materials. What's your thoughts on the Cobra class 26? Will the machine be happy for 138 thread? Is there other machines I should take a look at buying instead? I will be using this machine mostly for wallets & card holders, belts & such with the flatbed table top. Thanks. Any & all help greatly appreciated.

Looks good. Nice work. Welcome to the group.

I'll look thru my belt craftaid patterns & see if I have that one. I believe that's 1 of the patterns I could not find. But I'll look in the next day or 2.

I would want either a 12"-18" leather splitter or a giant clicker press & dies.

I guess I'm the odd duck out! I use Weldwood contact adhesive. Good stuff, but stinks the shop up. I believe it can be thinned with acetone.

Looks good! Nice revamp.

You can get a nice edge on the rotary blades with this sharpener.

Chartermade blades I believe offers MagnaCut. I know Leather Wranglers offers leather knives in MagnaCut.

Yeah I believe there is 2 people that I know of. I believe they offer Magnacut steel. Lmao now I just need to think of their names. BTW they are not cheap. $300-$450 dollar a knife.

Double your 5-6oz leather for a 10-12oz leather. As others has stated, I like my leather for tool sheaths & such, made out of 9-12oz leather.

Use some gum tract & a heavy thick drinking glass & then slick. Lightly damp it with some water & saddle soap & slick. Just don't get too crazy when slicking & it should not effect your tooling. Or at least I dont think it would.

I love my stamps Tim did for me. I got 2 makers stamps a 1" & 1½" For setting I bought the big Barry king maul I can't remember for sure, but I think it is 32oz. I know if you don't case your leather good enough, the 1½" sometimes takes a couple hits.

Yeah that top 3/8 size stamp set is 1 I've been wanting for a while now. There is bunch of his stamps I want. Or if it's not that stamp it's 1 similar to it. Maybe later this year! -
Nice work. They look great!

Nice looking machine. I think if you back press on your pedal it will stop the needle in the up position. What will the techsew 2750 handle thread size? Thanks.
-
I think the thread zapper ll is the better of the models offered. I heard the tips can eventually burn up. But replacement tips are available.

Nice work. Looks beautiful. Gotta love that Buttero leather!

Also another thing about bbq is it's messy. So I would want some type of leather that is easy to clean up.
-
Nice work! I like them. I always tie my end off around the bobbin. But that gets to be a PITA everytime switching bobbins. Great work. Them look handy.
-
Thanks I appreciate it. I'll see if I can run them tools down.
