  1. Don Gonzales has a pretty good tutorial on antiquing. Lol it will be quicker than me trying to explain it. It can be done numerous ways thou.
  2. I use a lot of veg-tan, but I just been using the imported stuff in grade A & I have been happy so far. I have heard a bunch this year from some very professional famous leather makers. They have said that Herman Oak leather has been hit & miss for them too. Basically from 2023 going into 2024.
  3. Yeah I think blue & orange look good together.

  6. Looks good. Nice work. I like the pattern on the belt next to the black belt. Is that hand stamped/tooled or was it embossed? Thanks.

  8. Looks nice! Beautiful work.
  9. That leather might be to tight grained to get the desired effect. But 60 grit might be worth a try. That gray color is from the tanning/dying process I believe. Your leather might not have them gray tones under the black like the other belt you pictured.
  10. I would try some 60 or 80 grit sand paper. That should give you the desired effect you are going for.
  11. You need to list a price. Thanks.

  18. Nice work. I checked them out a month or month & half ago. I was debating if I wanted to spend the money to get into a different technique.
  19. I was going to reccomend Chicago screws, but I was beat to the punch line. You could use nickel silver cutlery rivets. But you would need to buy the long ones & then cut them to the length you want/need.
  20. Looks good. Nice work & looks like its heavy built/constructed.
  21. Looks great. Nice work.
  22. Looks good. Welcome to the group. Bunch of great people here. Enjoy.
