Actually pretty well it's a light gun and I want it to look real clean and classy so i went with the thinner straps.

alpha2 Report post Posted April 15, 2022 I see the holster is not wet-molded to the gun. And no strap of any kind. What are you planning for retention, as the gun is effectively horizontal in the holster? One doesn't want those yay-hoos at the corral laughing when the gun falls out. And don't sweat the basketweave flattening out at the fold, I know I've done it, and I'll bet almost everyone has on a early holster. It's a big part of the learning curve. A learning curve I'm still waiting to straighten out a bit. Jeff BTW, my first Mexican loop holster was my first holster, for a breaktop H&R revolver, and I won't even put the pics up on this forum. 'Cause it was NASTY!

'Cause it was NASTY! I'm Probably going to go with a loop around the hammer. The antiqueing didnt come out as dark as i wanted so the basketweave looks flaten out but its did flatten much. I like it in the Copper. Now to sand it to 3000 or 6000 grit and buff till shinny then replate the Nickel then buff to a shine then Chrome plating goes on with 3 or 4 coats
