WOW! Great looking saddle. I'm not a saddle maker.....I sure hope to build one some day (so does my wife). When I do, I hope it turns out half as nice as that one.

I haven't worked with it YET. I have a biothane harness that is need of some repair soon, so I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. One suggestion is to give a call to Weaver Leather or to the Biothane company and see if they have any suggestions.

That is a good looking belt. Nice work.

I'm just guessing, but wouldn't a couple coats of Neat-Lac or saddle lac provide enough protection? At least until you got the oil wiped off the leather. I'm interested in this too, I want to hear what our pros have to say.
