  1. Pictures might help get you an answer.
  2. I know this is from 2 years ago, but all links work. No broken links! Check your browser, etc.
  3. You need to specify any shipping restrictions.
  4. Tim, you need to identify shipping, and your location.
  5. You need to provide a lot more information to be able to get some help. There must be 1000 or more saddles that might fit your vague description. Some photos from various angles would go a long ways toward helping you find out more about your saddle. Photos from all sides, front, back, under the cantle, under the fenders, under the gullet, the rigging, etc. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Please post jpg or png picture files. Please be aware that picture file sizes are limited here. Resize photos to 800 pixels in the longest dimension. If you need more help with resizing photos: If your files are too large to post here due to file size restrictions, you need to resize your files to fit. Follow this link for some helps and suggestions. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/15122-how-to-post-pictures-on-lw/?do=findComment&comment=551171 There are lots of Apps, software, and online tools available on the web, or even built into your device to enable you to reduce your file sizes. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is quite adequate. Smart phone screens and many monitors don't display high res files in high resolution. People that live on the fringes of the internet appreciate smaller file sizes and high res photos may take from 10 minutes to hours to download.
  6. Moved your post to: Marketplace > Items For Sale > Machinery --> Sewing and Stitching > Used Doesn't belong in Announcements. If you noticed, only the marketplace rules are in that folder.
  7. @LMullins moved you post to Gun Holsters, Rifle Slings and Knife Sheathes This is a good place to search. Take a look at this thread https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/114024-holster-making-literature/ And look at JLSleather posts as well.
  8. We are all still learning, and re-learning things we were good at a few years before!
  9. You need to wait until the needle has risen to its top position and starts to descend before pulling the material out. The stitch hasn't been completed before that point. So just handwheel it a little further and problem gone.
  10. You need to clearly state your asking price. A dealer quote isn't your asking price. See the marketplace rules here https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/
  11. @Hildebrand Moved your post to Dyes, Antiques, Stains, Glues, Waxes, Finishes and Conditioners.
  12. What size is the file? Is it located in your system/network, are you able to send it via email? If you can send it via email, message me and I'll give you an email address to send it to so I cam post it here.
  13. Guests can't post picture, but you could try linking to a 3rd party host. We don't normally suggest 3rd pqrty hosting as the pictures often disappear over time.
  14. Just trying to organize topics so they are easier to find in the future. Some are obvious, but others are more difficult to classify.
  15. Moved to Sewing Leather
  16. @Tartan moved your post to "Wanted" in the Marketplace area.
  17. I looked up webp a few months ago to see what it was. Supposedly a lossless type of compression. That is great compared to tiff and jpeg files. The problem with using them here is as I stated, this site doesn't automatically display webp files. Many members won't download 'unknown' file types. Thus those who post webp files here limit their audience. So until this site upgrades its software to automatically display webp files, I stand behind my comments. @Johanna Maybe it is in the next software version?
  18. Moved to Leather Sewing Machines. You'll get more response from the machine guys here.
  19. Just like you did! If it fits the occasion, you can quote a little part of each members' post by selecting / highlighting the text and clicking the little "quote" popup. Each one will be added to your post and you can comment following each.
  20. Moved to Dyes, Antiques, Stains, Glues, Waxes, Finishes and Conditioners. By the way, you should study this area.
  21. Where did you hear about or find info on "oil casing". We need to know the source and their reliability.
  22. @Henry Please post your photo files as jpeg or png files. heic files files are a proprietary format and not all devices and operating systems are able to display them. Many users will not download links to unknown files or sites so you are limiting the audience your are attempting to reach. Please see this link for more information and assistance. https://leatherworker.net/forum/topic/98380-heic-picture-files-convert-to-jpeg-before-posting/
  23. Moved from Saddle construction to the Marketplace hand tools, leather working tools Take a moment to read the Marketplace Rules. https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/70-announcements/ Location Atlanta, Georgia, 30302 Helps to have your location in your profile or for sale posts. This is a world wide forum.
  24. The edit button is available for a couple hours or so. After that it is greyed out and only admin/moderators can edit the post. So if the time window is closed, and it really needs fixing, let us know and we can do it.
  25. Moved this thread to Leather Machinery.
