  4. Clutch motor. Motor runs constantly. You have to feather the clutch like a car with a standard transmission to get it started. Only with a clutch motor, you have to feather the clutch all the time if your are trying to go slow around corners, etc. Go to the home page and there is a full list of all the forums along with descriptions, numbers of posts, and how many are unread (by you).
  5. @loricariiidae Since your post is about leather sewing machines, I moved it to Leather Sewing Machines.
  6. Good to see you joined the forum instead of trying to post under 'report' as a guest. Copied the new version from your report! Hope to hear more from you now as a member.
  7. Moved your post to leather machinery
  8. @leatherworkwonders You have an offer see above post. @DLoveOn8 You need to quote or tag members so they get notice. OP hasn't checked in since August 2022.
  9. As Burkhardt says above. If the hook doesn't catch the loop, you have a skipped stitch. So the loop has to be properly formed, and not interrupted by any twisting, turning, or any other action until the loop is caught. See this post for example.
  10. @AtlantisLeather Moved your post to Home > Marketplace > Items For Sale > Businesses & Estate Sales > Leatherworking Workshop Liquidation
  11. Little motor pulley should be belted to the large speed reducer pulley. As is, you will see almost no change in speed and torque.
  12. @scoggim and @Burkhardt Moved post to Leather Sewing Machines.
  13. The edit window time is fairly short, maybe a couple hours. After than, just add additional info in a new post. If something really needs fixed, contact a moderator to help fix it.
  14. @Cowboymade Please read the marketplace rules and conform. Even though you are "testing the waters" you must post a definite price in USD for the item, we know prices are negotiable but a price nonetheless. Shipping policy needs to be stated clearly.
  15. Depending on the machine's construction, you may be able to fashion a locking device to hold the stitch length/reverse in the reverse position. A stretchy cord with a loop to pull over the lever can do the job for you.
  16. You need to either quote a post (or part of it) or tag the person you want to contact. To tag a person, type @ followed by the screen name, and pick from the popup list. @dfrensdorff You have an interested party. If the machine is no longer for sale, post to this thread that it is sold or no longer for sale.
  17. @Wizcrafts I adjusted the shadows/highlights. Do they help you?
  18. @Sasho moved your post to leather sewing machines.
  19. The edit function is only available for a short time, maybe a couple hours. So you did it the only way possible by adding photos in a subsequent post. Not so dense after all!
  20. @shoepatcher @HatoriKun @Uwe
  21. Be careful not to lift the foot too high and release the top tension. Lift just enough to be able to turn the project.
  22. @Jc911rsa moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines
  23. There are helps located here for resizing your photos. Also many more options on the web. Pleas post your photos here as requested in the marketplace rules.
  24. @Blume You have some posts here that you are missing. You should monitor your thread. @Bert03241 If you tag the person or quote a post, the user should get a notice.
