  1. Photos not attached. If the photos are too large and wouldn't load, you will need to resize them. There is a sticky under the computer forum with a number of helps and suggestions if you need them.
  2. Hi Nick. Would you give permission for me to make a PDF of your instructions and post them in this thread so they are available regardless of what happens to your site in the future? I'm sure it would be appreciated by others in the future.
  3. @James850 Moved your post to the marketplace, used sewing machines.
  4. Heat it up with a heat gun. That works with others, so worth a test.
  5. SewGood hasn't visited this site since Nov 30, 2020. I'm archiving this post.
  6. Many users cannot open heic picture files. They are Apple proprietary file type. Please post jpg files. You can set your device to save jpg files. Here is the file converted to jpg.
  7. @randyrann moved your post to Business and Estate Sales
  8. Some good info here, so not archiving it. Have locked the thread so it is still available for reference.

    Video?

Post it on YouTube (or other host). You can make it private if you wish. ( From what I understand, the public in general won't find it, but it is accessible if you know/have the URL.) Then post the link here. Pretty much all videos are too large to fit the size constraints here. This site also doesn't have the necessary interface to display videos. I tried an MP4 in a PM and it couldn't be displayed. As a moderator, I can post large files, so this was a test to see what it would do.
  10. @Azalyne Skye Moved your post to the Marketplace, machinery, etc. since you are selling rather than wanting.
  11. Didn't wipe off the grain side for me. I will only use it on the flesh side, silver on black. Otherwise I use pen on the flesh side. Tiny awl pricks or light scratch on the grain side.

You have been asked to post pictures and to conform to the marketplace rules. You have been provided with a link to help you sort out the best way for you to resize your photos so they are small enough to fit here. If you can send pictures, you can likely use the same process to resize your photos by sending them to yourself. Now is the time to do it. Failure to follow the marketplace rules may result in your for sale posts being taken down. Age is no excuse. Plenty of us in the 70s and 80s year old age group manage it. You may be able to get help from a neighbour or someone in your family if you asked.
  13. @MissyLee If you can't comply with the rules, price your items, etc., I'll lock and move your post to old/sold.
  14. Bolo clip plus a slider for jacket/hood cords. The cord here is cheap Tandy 3/32" lace, 4 strand round braid with no core. Just a trial experiment! The bolo clip tears up the lace when it is slid to adjust the length. Does it on Tandy's cord too! The clamp is not easy to quickly open and close, so your clients wouldn't like that either. The cord sliders I got were from a few years ago, from Mountain Equipment Coop (https://www.mec.ca/en/) I can't find them easily this morning. They are not wide enough for 2 cords, so have to use 2, one on each string. Clamp open Clamp Closed Face for concho
  15. I'll dig one out and take a couple photos for you. The 6mm cord fits the tips, just glue them in. Or tie a knot in the end instead and glue the tips so they don't unravel. Seems to me they have both leather and vinyl cords.
  16. Tandy has bolo tie parts https://tandyleather.ca/products/concho-bolo-slide-clip?_pos=3&_sid=2d924ee8b&_ss=r String diameter is limited. Lots of conchos, only fit on one side, clip compresses to lock the cord, not great for purses.
  17. @BOOTSTRAPS Moved your post to leather sewing machines. This is where the machine guys hang out!
  18. @youdesiremenow Moved your post to leather sewing machines.
