  1. Hey @Willyac, to get someones attention, use @gottaknow and click on the name in the drop down list. Then they will get a notification. See how it works?
  2. @JB0090 Moved your post to Marketplace used sewing machines.
  3. Start a new thread in https://leatherworker.net/forum/forum/89-wanted/ I'm archiving this old thread.
  4. This is a world wide forum, so you may have queries from Europe for example.
  5. I'm not in the market for them. I was giving you some direction in my capacity as a moderator for this site. You may have interests from other locations too.
  6. @Mike Craw Please identify where you will ship to and who pays shipping costs as per the Marketplace Rules. Thanks.
  7. @Warre Moved you post to the Marketplace. You need to provide photos, etc. Please read the Marketplace rules and comply. Shipping info - will you ship, who pays, etc.
  8. @Ulrika66 Moved your post to the Marketplace. Please read the marketplace rules and comply. You need to provide a selling price and should state who pays shipping.
  9. obviously not according to the previous posts. OP hasn't been here since Sep 2020.
  10. Hasn't been here since August 2020
  11. @regius I've moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. This is the place to post as this is where the sewing machine fellows hang out. Posting in help wanted requires every post to be approved by a moderator. Help wanted is sort of like the want ads in the news paper, people looking for work, or looking to have something done for them. When you have a specific item or request, you should start a new post, not tag onto someone else thread that is not the same as your topic. Good luck in your search, I'm sure someone will be along soon to help. Photos are always a good thing to post when looking for specifics. Do you have a manual for this machine? That is another good place to look.
  12. The OP joined March 14, last visited Mar 21, so I highly doubt you are going to get any response from him. We'll try @LangDog are you still alive?
  13. Do you realize that you are posting in a thread that hasn't been active since April 2013? Have you checked out the Leather Sewing Machine forum? Also read this thread.
  14. Upload your video to YouTube in a private account and post a link to it here.
  15. Faux leathers are some sort of plastic/vinyl and will not likely behave like you expect leather to. Even veg tan versus chrome doesn't stamp the same way. Hot foil stamping should work for faux junk.
  16. You need to resize your photos so they fit the restrictions on size. Take a look at this thread for lots of examples and helps to resize your photos. Photos are required for marketplace posts. Please comply.
  17. Looks like the photos are taken with a smart phone, and the more close up you get, the more the wide angle lens distorts the image. That's why selfies photos are less than attractive. Make the nose much more prominent; anything closer to the lens looks bigger!
  18. @ToddW Moved your post to How do I do that. Everything in help wanted requires moderators approvals. Typically used like help wanted ads in the newspaper.
  19. Hasn't been on this site since Dec 31. Seems to not be answering questions. I am going to archive this thread in Old/Sold
  20. From the picture, it is a digital servo motor.
  21. This may or may not work for you. Centre punch the head of the nails, then drill until you go just through the head. Pull the leather parts off, then cut the nails off flush with the tree or what ever layer you are going down to. I'm not a saddler, but that would be my approach. Works for me on other leather projects and on woodwork repairs and projects.
  22. @Jeff77 moved your post to Leather Sewing Machines. You'll get more action here as this is where the guys hang out.
