  8. There was also on another thread about how you always want to penetrate the leather the same amount on every stitch. Someone, I do not remember who said to put leather washers on your awl to help make consistent sized holes and keep the awl tip super sharp. I have not stitched a lot but sharpening the awl tip helped me a lot and it was a cheap Tandy one. Good luck David

  11. I think it came out very well and looks great. Thanks for posting it. I am not sure about the blood stains but I would test the vinegar on a piece of scrap before I used it. I don't think it will work but I am not sure. David
  12. I got my air brush at harbor freight for about 20 dollars. I use a big compressor that I regulate down to about 20 to 30 psi. I am still learning how to use it but I like it so far. You can look them up on the Internet or you tube. Look in the dyes and finishing section of this forum. Good luck David

  16. Hey I think they look really good and the design flows from one to another perfectly. So it sounds like you've got the design in your head and I know from metal working once I have that if I can see it in my head then I can make it. So just run with what ever system you are using because it is working for you! Great work David
