  1. Nice job, Gergo. I'm not surprised two weeks wasn't long enough, that looks like quite a project.
  2. Nice job, Mike! That looks like a very sturdy bag, and a lot of hand stitching. Similar to what Tramp said, it's awesome when parents make something cool for their kids. Kids usually want to be proud of their parents, but you make it easy for them if you make cool stuff for them!
  3. Nice! And the two-tone lacing really brings out how close the lace work is.
  4. Ha, no worries - I copied it from google.
  5. So cool!
  6. All of your holsters are gorgeous. I love the exotics you use. They blend in, they're subtle, but so very nice. I like how you added the, what is it, croc? to the last belt to match it to the holster. And your molding is gorgeous. Anyway, thanks for posting pictures.

Very cool! I love the rustic look of it. It looks kind of like a Wanted Poster from the wild west.
  8. This was extremely helpful. Clear, and well done, too. If you're looking for criticism, I'd say that you should consider moving the last paragraph on the first page. When I was reading it, I stopped reading that paragraph several times and referred to the picture below, and I felt confused because I was jumping around trying to look at it and read the paragraph above it at the same time. After you finish the paragraph, everything is clear, but it might go more smoothly for the reader if you lead to the graphic with the first sentence: "Here are some examples of these differences, and they are striking." Then the graphic, and move the full explanation of the graphic below. I think people are used to referring back to something they've seen earlier and do that more naturally than referring to a graphic below the paragraph they are reading. Take it or leave it - it's a small point.
  9. Nice, Oscar. I really like that book. The bag is cool, your daughter is lucky to have such a nice dad. I like where you took the bag design - it's not the same thing at all, which is cool. I wonder if it would be nice to have a hole drilled in the wood piece so you could attach it to the bag with a leather cord. Maybe someone else would be more careful, but I would probably lose it in the end.
  10. I love the inside shape. Nice work!
  11. Coolest project ever. Great job!
  12. Wow, that's ridiculous for only a few weeks.
  13. I had problems with that, too. I finally ended up putting one bracelet up for sale, and saying I'd make the same one to the customer's size specifications. It didn't really matter to me if I made it before or after they bought the bracelet. However, it was ultimately such a pain I stopped making bracelets altogether.
  14. Looking good, welcome to the forum! I grew up in Ft. Worth and Weatherford.
  15. Looking forward to it! Maybe mostly because it's kind of awesome getting something from someone who thought it valuable or interesting enough to collect for themselves.
  16. Ditto above, nice project, and good idea. Welcome to the forum!
  17. I'm not opposed to the idea. I don't mind losing to you lotsa'wallet makers.
  18. Beautiful work. I really like what you did with the cross hatching. Did you antique in the cracks?
  19. Your leaf and thorn design is pretty sweet!
  20. Nice, I tried to make a kindle cover a year or so back, and it turned out to be a lot more complicated than I thought it would be. It didn't turn out nearly as well as I hoped. Yours is much better.
  21. Pretty sweet project, and very ambitious.
