So what if its somewhat off on the lacing, I can't see it from here, and Your pocket will never tell on you. LOL But, if your going to relace anyway it'll be showstopper for sure. BLUE RIBBONS all round !

Oh and in answer to your other question, would I ever do hair on hide again, Yes its not bad to work with at all. I enjoyed it ! Sorry, I neglected to give you an answer earlier .

The Bible cover itself is of Brown Upholstery Hide, very thick White Deer Hide-inlay, Brown Mexican Hand Braiding, using Imperial lace,(not so bad) I had our cousin make the jeweled cross for me.
