  1. Monica, Really, really nice workmanship ! I especially liked seeing the mandolin bag. but all of your work is both beautiful and well done. By the way as a foot note to you; I talked with our Tandy David and he says Hi, and does in fact, remember you from your name ! Keep up your great work !
  2. Im with them, I like it too ! The black Johnny Ringo look, is kind of a refreshing look , not always seen as much as are other colors ! Nice workmanship in this piece too.
  3. I think its a slam dunk !! Especially for a first time attempt. Super, Super workmanship, even without the human model (girlfriend) in it, it has very nice lines, so when and if, we get to see it modeled, we won't be seeing the insides anyway. hoho keep up the good work !
  4. I like the look of this sheath, it has style and function, nice work !

  7. Leprachaun, First and foremost Congratulations on your Marriage, As far as your Dad's new Fathers day billfold is concerned, Super great work. !!! I especially like the yellow saddlesoap burnishing idea ! Looks very clean and smooth. I'll try that myself. I liked the lil bit of extra leftover around the card pockets, looks nice, stronger somehow. And lastly the brown stitching looks appropriately done. Really nice work !!! I like it, and Im sure your Dad will be extremely happy to carry it, and be proud of it !!!
  8. I too wish, I was that well versed in tooling, and for that matter design as well. Just like Monica I liked the 1st, but then straight on through the 8th picture as well. Super nice work !

  11. Sweat cuffs for my Biker friend. I just wanted to THANK my friends on LWN for their help with my concerns for this project. I have completed what I hope will be a good solution for him. and that it will be a positive influince on his wrists. I first made a 3-4oz veg tan lining strap the size of his wrist, Then using terry cloth I sewed a sleve to go over that strap. Next I made the outer strap from Latigo, just long enough to go over the inner, but still tight enough for support. And, using Velcro I was able to hold it all together at various points, so the inner strap will be removable in order to remove the sleeve for washing when needed. I used Gum Tragacanth to smooth it down on the inside, slicked it down. (minus the terry (haha) I put a few holes on top for some air circulation then, I laced the edges and gave it all a coat or two or three of Ossie. Inside and Out ! I don't have pictures yet, but, when I can figure out how to reduce the size of most my pictures. I'll post them here. Thanks my friends for your valuable input, your time, and your interest. _______ Wild Bill46

  15. Yeah Joe, Im still impressed with your level of skill, for a relative newbee, you've come a very long way, in a short amount of time. I like your wallet, and the color is phenomenal looking, Is your stitching hand stitched ? or machine stitched ? either way its very pretty, and even ! Keep on keeping on Man. Wild Bill46 By the way, I be-frended you the other day !
  16. I too, have to concur, This is an excellent rendering of the idea (last two pictures) . Your hand stitching is a thing of beauty, and I understand your pride in wanting to do it this way.
