  1. Thanx for your post, I have entertained thoughts of doing picture framesmyself, NOW after seeing yours, I'll have to try too. However, I'm like RMB , I'de like to see the back too. And as Cheryl says, I think you did a great job. too !
  2. Sorry, !!!!!!! I had not looked close enough at first, As I now see now , Its not a lock blade at all, its a full tang Knife, Sorry about that ! It still looks nice !
  3. Nice looking Lock Blade Knife Teriffic in fact !
  4. Joe , Your the type of guy who just keeps delivering. Thanx for this tutorial of sorts, I have been thinking of getting a bit of a smaller maul for myself, I use a #2 lbs maul now ! So now I can add to those thoughts, to include making one from your design thoughts. Again, thank you so much, for this and all your informative posts.
  5. Dave, I have always enjoyed your creativeness, And taste in choppers, And now a leather tool bag, What else do you do ? Your righteous man ! BTW I'm originally from SFV
  6. Jimbob _____________ Not meaning to dominate this space, just wanted to say ,, It seems as though you are a man of many talents ? Your leather work has not suffered one bit from the lack of attention, In fact I'm astounded. The Wolf picture looks so real ! and your bear claw almost jumped out at me. It does, it looks so nice ! In fact its so clean, at first, I thought it was inlaid ! Oh and BTW, I need my Harley washed == Do I need an appointment ? - hohoho ---- keep em comin man
  7. Your Welcome, Thanx for showing ! Oh and hooray for the bear, Im originally from SFV

  11. I'm with Monica, the tooling and coloring look great !
  12. I'm like, Greg 528it I like all of those, but the oxblood looking one with the spots got my motor running just a bit faster, I think this design will take you far. Good luck at your action shoots !
  13. Can't speak for anyone but myself, But I think both pieces are good works of art, Nice weekend haul !
  14. Monica, No matter the time spent stitching, the end result looks fantastic. Nice work ! The complete bag looks great too ! I was especially happy with the look you gave the straps, again Nice work !
  15. All Three look very well made Cheif ! I think I'm a bit partial to the first picture, simply due to its color, and that is maybe close to Saddle tan ? my personal favorite. Then too, The tooling is great, I think the buckles on the straps create contrast which makes them all stand out, and worthy of your capabilities, as I have come to realize them !
  16. I would agree with the majority, I too went to a marble and granite counter top manufacturing co, I got one 18" x 28" and a matching one (same pattern) maybe 12" x 36" for free. They make you jump through all kinds of hoops though. I need to call the boss for permission, what will it be used for, can you come back tomorrow, ?etc. ? Thats, that much less they have to dispose of. But free is free, and I like mine ! Don't take NO for an answer, Barter if you need to, you can charge a fee to haul it off for them, or you can do it for free.
  17. Im with Monica, Your Inlay looks incredible, you just might start a fad ? really, really nice !
