I make a fair bit of strapping for gallopers and harness horses and I find the nylon handles wear and tear a lot better than the poly. Tony.

Energy consumption around the workshop

Ed, do you mean the servo motor uses power when it is not in use? I have no idea what amount of power is used in my workshop but the house and workshop usually runs 750 - 800 dollars a quarter. Tony. -
Like it. It looks great! Tony.

Hi Terry. The press I have is identical to yours. I did have one about 3 feet x 2 feet and it took up too much room. I bought 3 presses from the Uni when they had a sale. A small one, the one I still use and the big one. It is very handy at times. Tony.

Ryano, I would like that recipe if you don't mind, please. Tony.

I think Biothane may be the same as PVC webbing that we use down here and I sew lots of it. I just use a metric 20 nylon thread and a #180 - #200 canvas point needle and it works just fine. Tony.

I can't imagine cutting leather in a serious fashion with anything but a round or head knife. Most items I cut out need to be skived on one end and I already have the knife in my hand to do that job with, I don't need to pick up another tool to skive anything with. I can straighten a side of leather after marking a line and sticking to the line and get a straight cut every time. You must have a sharp knife though, to do the job correctly, that is all. Tony.

I would not have stopped the grooves abruptly like you have. I would have run the groove around the curve of the end of the belt. Pretty good though. Tony.
