  1. Geezzz.... I missed the stripes. Give me a day or so and I'll post a picture here with the stripes (or make it a donkey *s*)
  2. Very awesome eagle. Love your eye for details and welcome to the board:-)
  3. Hi Guys, glad you like the pattern and that it might be useful to you:-) It would be nice to see a photo if someone makes something out of this. Have a Great day//Tina
  4. Hi Roo, I have only used Angelus spirit leather dyes but I'm really happy with them. Vivid colors and no rub of that I can discover. I have only found a few places here in the US that sells them and the cheapest is from this link: http://www.turtlefeathers.com/text/angelus/dye.html Their service is excellent and shipping fast and postage is what they pay. The color chart on the web page is unfortunable very inaccurate. For example the purple looks dull and boring, compare with this link where I have used the purple and you see what I mean, and even that picture is less vivid than real life: http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?a...ost&id=5037 I have to blue colors I've used, the blue jean and the blue. The last one is equally vivid as the purple. Always get a big container of resolvent, it's super useful. I do not have a picture of the blue yet but if you are interested I can make samples and take photos of them. Have a great day "Down under" :-)

    Latest Purse

Love your purse Tim, great work, and very nice color choice. I love the celtic knotwork patterns, the "dizzier' the better:-)
  7. I just made...Or remade is more correct a belt pattern. I wanted all the flowers to be differnet, feel free to use:-)

I Think it's so sweet of you making something this personal to your girlfriend, I bet she's going to be happy:-)
  10. He's Cruel Roo:-) When I have more time I gotta try this out:-)
  11. Hi Bruce, I got the screw thingie:-) What I'm going to do is order 3/8 and 1/4 chicago screws but also extra longer loose screws. That should get me enough to wiggleroom with and get it right...Hopefully. I can not use loctite on them cuz I'm doing this headstall without a bit attached. I'm just putting in an order from Ohio (screwback conchos and things) and like everything else I guess its trial and error:-) A question, to make "horse leather" resistant from the elements of nature (heat/water etc) I have Tan Kote at home that I was thinking of using or is there another, better product, and what to do with the backside of the leather, do I use ex. Tan Kote there to?
  12. Good (breaking-)point Barra, it all make sense:-) I've been drawing most of the day and starting to get it to were I'm happy...No hooks at all, just conchos, chicago screws, buckles and some rivets for decorations. Maybe not all of the details is what I would have chosen, but then again, I'm not the one paying or making the last decisions either. I also discover that you can almost get as much money into this as your budget allowes you to, mama mia:-)
  13. I might have got something wrong but...I think i read in another topic here somewhere that you don't have to be a dealer to buy from them, just a minimum $30 order value is required??? Hope someone can come in with something about this.
  14. Thank-you all:-) At least I know now which size/s to order (going to get 3/8 and 1/4) Bruce, What you're talking about was just what I was afraid of, the thingies breaking up in the middle of a ride I'm just drawing my own patterns for this headstall and hoping it's going to look "Western" enough and be durable, geezzz I've only used typical english stuff before, this is absolutly new territory for me and I don't even have a pattern, only the measurements on the horses head. (Need a smiley here with a HELP sign *S*) Have a great evening and again, super thanks for your input and help//Tina
  15. Hi Marlon Be proud, I don't now that much about Sheridan but the pattern to me looks like it flowes really well and I think it looks great:-)
  16. I've been asked to make a headstall and I'm hoping someone here can help me... I wonder, which size (length) of chicago screws is usually used to attache the bit with? Greatful for any input//Tina
  17. I really love your work, so clean and right, verry vice sheath:-)
  18. Horns or no horns, I love your fantasy work and the details:-) IF i remember the history lessons correctly from shool in Sweden, no horns on a viking helmets have ever been found. The helmets with horns are all from the bronze age (500? years earlier) and during the romantic national era late 19-hundreds an artist just like you thought that horn would make it look way better and thats when the myth started. Artistic freedom, go for it :-)
  19. There was a few new ones I never heard of before, in a way I'm cheating...One of my best friends in Sweden is an Aussie and my daughter had a boyfriend for over 5 years, yes another Aussie:-) That's how I first learned the "fugly, uni, bush tucker, billabong" and so on. Wanker comes from my time living in England, they use it a lot:-)
  20. Super nice carving Marlon:-) and a great idea...
  21. I Love the pattern on that belt Froggie, and I think it came out great :-) (sorry about your camera)
  22. LOL...fun stuff, my try In the arvo (after noon) I went to the olds (parents) for a barbie (BBQ). It was BYO (bring-your-own) so I took some sangers (Sandwiches) and snags (sausages) and a slab (kartong 24 beers). The forecast was for a stinker (very hot) so I was in my stubbies (shorts?) and thongs (sandals type what you use on a beach, plastic). Shazza had acca dacca (AC/DC) blasting and was pissed as a parrot (drunk as an parrot=ape drunk?). It wouldn't be long before she had a chunder (puked)! Bluey had one eye glued to the reruns of the aerial ping pong (tha old first TV game?) on the box (TV) and the other on Shazza, but he had buckleys (no chance) chance there. Out the back the liquid amber (beer) was flowing, the mozzies (mosquitoes) and blowies (some fly?) had everyone doing the Australian salute. Davo had come in his budgie smugglers, he is such a wanker (naughty one...masturbating dude) and a cheap skate to boot. We ran out of grog (drink) so I jumped in my ute (heavy boots) and went to the local (local corner shop). I grabbed some mackers (McDonald burgers) on the way back. I was nackered (tired) by now so I grabbed a possie (confortable possition) next to shazza who was talking piffle (shit) about some feral yobbo at work. I was too stuffed (full) to answer, so she spat the dummy (TV) and pissed off (went out=sleeping). Missed some words that I have no clue what they are, and tock some guesses:-)
  23. I did a find this winter. In a garage sale i found this roll of blueprint paper, a yard wide and I don't know how many in the roll left...Manny more yards. The paper is coted with something (feels plastic) and very durable when tracking on leather, and the best, I only payed 50 cents for the whole roll:-)
