Leatherwork And Crypto Currencies
Tramps Leatherworking replied to Beaverslayer's topic in Marketing and Advertising
I respect Beaverslayer trying to increase his investment, but I guarantee you folks, that anyone pushing Bitcoin to you has a vested interest in it, they either mine them and/or trade them... Their success in making money depends on their ability to increase the use of this digital currency... I will never accept anything but cold hard cash, there is no good reason to get involved in this --- If this can be easily converted to cash, then the people who have them can convert them and pay me... I have done lot's of research on this, so it is not just my opinion... -
Very cool, thanks for sharing that...

Leatherwork And Crypto Currencies
Tramps Leatherworking replied to Beaverslayer's topic in Marketing and Advertising
Wytch, This is extremely risky and the potential for loss is huge, Bitcoin is constantly be pushed because it's value depends on more people getting into the fold... My opinion is this is a bubble that will burst with catastrophic results... Sometimes "no accountability" is not good... (Based on my research --- your opinion may vary) -

Need Some Stitching Help!
Tramps Leatherworking replied to bylinesupplyco's topic in How Do I Do That?
I use a CSO awl as well, and once properly polished it will go through leather like butter --- I lay the leather on a piece of dense styrofoam and punch away, works great... -

Klr650 Recovery Seat Where To Start?
Tramps Leatherworking replied to montrealleather's topic in Motorcycles and Biker Gear
There are several "How To" videos on youtube that do a good job of showing the proper way to recover a motorcycle seat --- sometimes a video is worth a thousand words... -

First Attempt At A Leather Jacket
Tramps Leatherworking replied to Alan Tesla's topic in Clothing, Jackets, Vests and Chaps
Very nice, I never tried to "hand stitch" an entire jacket --- I'm afraid my hands and patience would not survive!- 38 replies

Leatherwork And Crypto Currencies
Tramps Leatherworking replied to Beaverslayer's topic in Marketing and Advertising
I have yet to hear ONE good reason why I would want to get involved in this versus cold hard cash --- I have absolutely zero issues with customers paying me cash money! -
Ray, Disodium dihydrogen pyrophosphate is one of dozens of varieties of phosphates used as food additives. It’s derived from mined phosphate rock which is purified to isolate the phosphorous and further processed to add sodium or other desired molecules. “It is basically a mineral that comes out of the ground and is then processed into a synthetic chemical." Phosphates are used for an array of reasons, serving as leavening agents to fluff up foods, in nondairy creamers to reduce acidity, in lunchmeat to keep it moist, in bread to keep it from molding, and in cheese to help it keep its shape. It’s also used to prevent potato products from blackening and to keep tuna from discoloring or drying out. I think I would worry more about being ran over by people driving and texting on cell phones...

There are many places on the net that sells motorcycle jacket patterns --- If you have an old jacket, or can find an old jacket at a second hand store in your size you can reverse-engineer it and make a pattern from that... Good luck, and be sure to post pictures when you are finished!

Fixing Up A Singer 111W155
Tramps Leatherworking replied to Elmore's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
I concur with Constabulary, unless there is a mechanical issue, I would not disassemble the machine any farther than is necessary to give it a thorough cleaning... -
