  1. I have seen leather tool rolls with plastic and kydex inserts in the compartments. When the blade is removed the sheath comes out with it. I have also seen one where the sheath was drilled and stitched into the compartment
  2. So let me get this straight. She won't take a real leather item made from a byproduct of the meat industry (in most cases) because its an animal product. But she is OK with fake leather .The so called vegan leather which is a byproduct of the petrochemical industry? Hmm

  7. My dad taught me and my brother to dive and snorkel as kids. On weekends he would take us to his buddy's dive shop. His buddy was a Navy diver "back in the day" and had his first dive suit in display in the shop. The box lid bought back some great memories. My dad died December 8. So this was a nice trip down memory lane. Great job
  8. Kiwi likes this sheath
  9. Those are real nice. Can we see the bottom anyway?
  10. Looks good. Is there a welt? I can't make one out. Also how did you finish your edges. They look a little rough?
  11. No. The jar stays in tight. I have to pull it from the sleeve when I want to clean it. When I first made it. I had to work the jar in. Over time it stretched out a little. But at no time have I ever been concerned that the jar would slip out. I used sno seal on the inside of the sleeve to protect against moisture getting into the leather which is something you may want to consider also
  12. good looking game board
  13. Id like to post some new pics but i cant seem to be able to compress the image to meet the file size requirement!
  14. I made mine almost 4 years ago and i use it everyday for both hot and cold drinks, I measured the circumference of the mason jar and overlapped by about a half inch. I used 3 plan old rivets to hold it together and attached the handle the same way. I have had no issues at all with the jar slipping out. This pic was taken just after I made it. It has darkened in the most amazing way. Love my mug holder
  15. Love the peacock
  16. Lol I literally read that in his voice!
  17. That's one of the best looking long wallets I've seen in a long time.
  18. I know those as button punches used for Sam Browne studs. Expensive for what they are. I just punch the hole and then put a slit into the leather at the hole
  19. Awesome work. Is the moose strap a single piece or folded over for more strength?
  20. Interesting. Can we see this actually being worn?
