    Looks good. Is there a welt? I can't make one out. Also how did you finish your edges. They look a little rough?

    No. The jar stays in tight. I have to pull it from the sleeve when I want to clean it. When I first made it. I had to work the jar in. Over time it stretched out a little. But at no time have I ever been concerned that the jar would slip out. I used sno seal on the inside of the sleeve to protect against moisture getting into the leather which is something you may want to consider also

    I made mine almost 4 years ago and i use it everyday for both hot and cold drinks, I measured the circumference of the mason jar and overlapped by about a half inch. I used 3 plan old rivets to hold it together and attached the handle the same way. I have had no issues at all with the jar slipping out. This pic was taken just after I made it. It has darkened in the most amazing way. Love my mug holder

    I know those as button punches used for Sam Browne studs. Expensive for what they are. I just punch the hole and then put a slit into the leather at the hole
