  1. Yes,You can get them & I can send you info about them tomorrow.
  2. It has smooth feed dogs & feet so there's no marking.
  3. I've noticed this too over the years & thought that since the side w/the larger hole might take a thicker thread & needs the clearance under the plate for it to clear w/o binding. Just a guess.
  4. Yes,loosening the bobbin tension alittle will help, you also might give the takeup spring more pressure .
  5. I think you need to make sure your needle thread is pulled down in between the tensions discs,if not it'll just what you say because you aren't getting enough tension on the thread. Also have you taken the nut off the tension post & take the discs apart to see if there is grooves or dirt in there?
  6. Looks like a real professional job there.I'm very glad to know the machine got used to you.LOL
  7. Try to loosen the bobbin tension 1/2 a turn @ a time .
  8. Well the 211 is an updated 111w & they put a smaller handwheel on it so it will run faster. The larger handwheel & different clutch system make the 111w alttle easier to sew on & better for leather. You can always do what pcox did & put a large handwheel on the 211 will help it too.
  9. hook,needle bar,bobbins,feet BUT most people prefer the 111w over the 211
  10. Seth,I'll send a pack of #26 (next size larger) and that should cure your needle deflection.
  11. Seth, When you start sewing you can't just put the leather in & start sewng like I've seen in the video, you need to hold the needle thread for he first 3-4 stitches so it doesn't jam like it is.If you keep jamming it up like that it will get knocked out of time.
  12. I wouldn't ship a head either.I have dealt w/Tenn before with an old Singer 107w & an Adler 220 & never had to ship a machine.
  13. The problem with binders is not only is there a difference in width & thickness of the binding, there's also a difference in what people want to bind canvas, leather, carpet meaning the binder has to be made for the material thickness so there really isn't a standard binder that will work esp for leather .If your really want it to work properly (which most people do) it's best to call an attachment maker like Tennessee Attachment or Atlanta Attachment & you tell them the make & model of your machine & they'll want a sample of your binding & leather & let them know if it needs to go through any seams & they'll make you one that'll work.
  14. Try this with some thread loose in your hand thread it through the needlebar thread guide & pull it back & forth & see if it cuts it.You might also check the inside of the other thread guides too (for grooves)You should try this first before making any mechanical adj.
  15. What machine do you have?If it has a 3" pulley on the handwheel it wouldn't hurt to use the 4-1 but if it's a larger wheel6-8" they already run real slow w/a DC Servo & the 3-1 so I doubt if you need to go any slower than that.
  16. The long bar is made to hook up a chain to use a foot lifter. You need to get a different (shorter back bar ) to make the knee lift work.
  17. Ok,turn the machine while pushing on the button, when it goes into the slot(button drops lower) hold the button down turn the handwheel away from you should be shorter. This is what the the + & -- on the handwheel indicates.
  18. Here's some timing info.
  19. Use a manual for the 111w152,153,154 or 155,the difference in them is the stitch length & safety clutch ,the threading & etc will be the same.
  20. I'd say $3-400.00,it's a great machne for this type of work, but the problem is we can't get all the parts for it anymore. So try it before you buy itto mak sre t's ing good if ntit wll make it worth less of courseif you hae to bu parts.
  21. $5-800.00 depending on condition.
  22. It's real easy ,take the switch & wires off, then unfasten treadle rod off motor arm, on the motor there's 2 bolts side by side.Just loosen these 2 nuts 2turns,then on the other side take the nut all the way off the bolt.Push the bolt out of the table & now you can slide the motor off.and slide the new back on put the bolt back in tighten them, fasten switch & wires & adjust belt tension.
  23. Yes,changing the motor isn't that hard to do.The servos all have the same 3 bolts & mount in the same holes as yours & they come w/wires & new switch.
  24. A servo motor will slow it down.you can use thread sizes 69,92 & 138 on this machine with #16,20,22 needles. That's a nice looking camera you have in your avatar.
