There are different feet you can get for this like zipper feet where one toe of the outside foot will be off,you can get it with either the left or rightside off.
You need to loosen the 2-screws on the top shaft bearing on the inside (they are on a collar)you should also polish the sg=haft alittle all the way around where the handwheel so the bearing slides off easier.
Hello Joe,
Your Welcome!
UPS works quickly sometimes(LOL)
Did you see the threaded rod on the front where you can lower the motor down to adjust the belt?
How long is the arm on it?There is a flat table where you put it to the rightside & have the arm underneath or you can mount it on the left end of the table & put the pedals underneath if you need to use the arm.I might have a pic of the last one we had it had a real nice frame made out of angle iron w/a small table top on the right w/pedals underneath. If I can find the pic I'll post it tomorrow.
We also sell Adlers & have had some of them not sew out of the box.So we learned along time ago to test any machine Adler,Consew,Juki,Paff & Cowboy before they go out so we know for sure it was sewing properly when it left.
It is much easier to load & handle if you take the head off of the stand, undo the foot lift chain & 4-bolts off the head & it's off,you can slide the table in & put the head behind it & put some blankets or other packing around it.
I'm almost certain that shipping will be from $7-900 on top of this price you will be very close to getting one here that is tested & ready to go.Also does this include a servo motor & speed reducer?
Greg, that's true but he's talking about the machine we just shipped him & I know it's a 110volt servo & don't know of any locks on them.
I just looked @ a motor & realized he's talking about the screw for the brush,it looks like a key lock.
If you put the thread in counter-clockwise the thread will (should) stay under the bobbincase tension spring better do to the greater angle that it has as it comes off the bobbin.
