  1. the 135 x 17 or 16 for leather is the same specs as a 332 needle system or 29x3, 4. More common and comes in titanium coating. send me an email and i can send you pics. glenn
  2. To all the members, I just saw a video on the new Consew 2206-14-7 sewing machine . It looks like a new machine based off the Consew 206. This one has direct drive with functions, 8mm max stitch length and get this, 14" of work space. I have seen them for sale from $1799.00 to $1995.00. Looks like a winner. Anybody have one or sewn on one??? glenn
  3. Machine made in the 50's and early 60's as Constablulary said . I have the parts list for a 30-15. It has a 14.5" arm compared to a 12" arm on a Singer short arm. It would probably fit on a singer short arm treadle. I prefer to put them on a modern off the arm table with a servo and speed reducer. I have 2 treadle Adler tables for yours but I also 2 30-15 machines to rebuild that goes on these tables. Definitely put the wheel on the front. I also have 30-1,5,7 15 operations manuals. You can use 135x17 or x16 needles on this machine. contact me and I can help you. the one thing you may need is a bobbin winder reel holder which is what Adler calls the tension rig for winding a bobbin. I have these new and complete. glenn
  4. Consew instuction manual or parts list. parts list on Consew site. You would be looking for info on a Consew 206RB or RB-1. glenn
  5. Should be an Adler 167 flatbed walking foot machine with a trim knife on it. Rare! You sew and it trims the item you are sewing by a specific trim margin. glenn
  6. Using too small a needle for #92 thread. glenn
  7. I have seen guys sew with a leather or plastic wedge behind the foot as the foots going from thick layers down to thin layers. It works. glenn

  13. So either a #10 or #20. Chances are it is a #20 which is medium bobbin. great machines! get a bobbin so we can see which it is. glenn
  14. Spray the entire bottom of the machine with penetrating oil and let it set for a couple of days. glenn
  15. SB Newton, The Bradbury company went out of business in 1923. Hooks are as rare as hens' teeth. I have 6 machines to rebuild and plan to have the hooks made on a 3D metal printer. Best info I can give you at the moment. glenn
  16. JJN, As Constabulary stated, it is a Claes made for Pfaff. It is a Claes 8346. Looks like it was a honey colored that Pfaff used in the late 1980's. This machine has been repainted. Best patchers in the world, bar none. Buy it. Check to see if there is an embossed needle number on the black arm cover. It will state either Needle system 81 or 88. That narrows it down as to subclass. glenn
  17. Schmetz to my knowledge moved their production from Germany to India. GB were producing needles in Vietnam as was Organ. glenn
  18. Spray needle with silicon spray. Will make the adhesive not stick to the needle. glenn
  19. Not sure what the 305 subclass. C class, M is for leather safety clutch, P is for 4 motion drop feed, N normally means 6mm stitch length. but this has a -05 on it. glenn
  20. Kwok Hing in China makes a few feet for it. Not sure if they make anything else. Only other source is Durkopp Adler. glenn
  21. Great. That part not easy to find!!! glenn
  22. Try on thing. Loosen the thumb screw in front a that lock the machine foot from rotating. Sometimes they are screw up a little to far for the foot to rotate. glenn
  23. What do you want to use for binding? That is the question. All of the mentioned items above can be made into binding. glenn
