  15. I have done the same with most of my machines C including the new DA669. I have not problems. glenn
  16. The smallest needle size that will accommodate #138 thread is #22/140. A size #20 needle will not sew #138 thread! If you are using a #160 needle, you have to enlarge the hole on the feed dog and move the hook as to left and right. I did this on my Pfaff335 and the machine sewed fine on materials. However, I do not sew veg tan leather on this machine! glenn
  17. Those were the last Singer shoepatchers made at the Kilbowie plant. Production moved to Japan and the U series after that until about 1985. glenn
  18. That machine has not been built in at least 70 years. parts are not easy to come by. A few people on the is forum have some parts. Probably better luck in England finding parts. glenn

  22. The 206RB-1 was made in Japan by Seiko. The 206RB-5 is made in China. Keep that in mind. glenn
