Very nice bro...... Maybe a dumb question, but do you know what the significance of the second bird pic is.... I have see the same thing numberous times with the bird in a downward dive with something in its mouth and the star above.... -

So there are two sets of holes at C but because the way you laid the lacing, you cannot see the second set, and it looks like it is an edge braid, tho it is only a top braid. I see and understand now. Thank you David for the explanation. -

I started off in the kitchen... but the wife refused to allow me to use the table (because she knew once I laid claim to it, it would forever be lost.... Then my mom who lived with us passed away, and I slowly cleaned out her room and finally decided to move into it... -

Ok, NO picking on me for not cleaning up.... The first four pix are from (I think) when i first moved my work area into the spare bed room.... I have re-arranged it quite a bit since.... And here are a few pix showing how my work area, not unlike cancer, has spread out and claimed more area.... My 2 foot carving florescent light: -

ok, what we have is A: Lace going through the suede on one side (on the inner) and going through the top most veg tan, the suede (?) and then the bottom vegtan. B: This is just a piece of vegtan that is used as a decorative piece and is more or less just a flap, if you wanted you could put your finger under and run it around all the way around the entire seat? Under this vegtan is the continuation of the suede? C: Is the edge lacing of the vegtan flap and the continuation of the suede? D: is the basketweave that holds the top to the bottom... Is this correct? If you do continue the suede from A to C why? Why not stop it it A? It is hard for MY mind to go any farther that what I see in a two dimensional picture. One reason it is hard for me to learn from anything but hands on.... second reason being I have such a hard time communicating my thoughts so others can understand them enough to give me the direction I am seeking. -

David, you have three rings of lacing..... the middle one confuses me terribly. that looks very much like an edge braid, not a seam braid... I know you cant take this seat apart to show me steps you took to construct it, but will you PLEASE take pix the next time you make a seat like this with the three braids and the middle LOOKS like it is an edge braid? Pix help me "see" what you are doing so much more than you trying to explain it with words, but words and pix are even better.... Great looking seat.... very "classy" looking. -
absolutely beautiful! Please continue to update this with pix in every step of construction!

I have changed my area around so much I am getting dizzy with it.... I dont have any up to date pix right now.... I will get some tonight and post em.... but I AINT CLEANIN UP! like everyone did in the last thread.... LOL -
Two suggestions for you, post better CLOSE UP pix of the tool heads, this give the potential bidder an idea of how worn the tooling heads are. Also, State if the tools say CRAFTOOL, CRAFTOOL USA or anything else..... If at all possible, case some vegtan leather and make an impression of each tool.

Cool, thanks Beeza.... maybe I aught pack all this up and send it to you..... Let the Pros deal with it....

What I want to do is wrap the entire side with one piece, starting at the front which is pictured here: And tool the MAGNA Logo on the back here: I am thinking I can cut a 6 inch strip the full length to wrap around leaving 1 1/2 inch to fold under the seat to be attached to the plastic pan. I am thinking I can stretch the leather around it, and connect the ends and allow it to dry, then cut it at the proper height, then take it and cut a top to match the freshly cut sides. Then remove the side, tool the Logo in the back of the side, then align the top with the side and put my holes into the side and top to accommodate the lacing to attach the two together. then dye and finish the two pieces, then lace them together and attach to the pad and pan, and then lace up the seam in the very front of the side where the two ends come together. then wrap underneath the pad to the pan and attach to the pan.... What is wrong with this series of steps? Will this work?

Help...bottom thread tension problem
wolvenstien replied to TimberWolf's topic in Leather Sewing Machines
you thought about using a hammer on it? Usually works for me.... Other than the bobbin tension, I have no clue... you loosen the top tension? tighten the botton, looen the top and see what that gets you? Glad to see you around.... you havent been posting for a while.... -
Need a web site? Custom site and store checkouts!
wolvenstien replied to sdm3's topic in Marketing and Advertising
So it would be $700-800 per month? Per year? I am asking bottom line price and what you get for that price. What kind of space on the server, bandwidth, access, databases, is it a shared server? And all the other info that goes in with this. Thanks -
I dont think rivets will work on the plastic pan.... end up breaking the plastic.
