  1. you say you get a light engraving ? Have you checked to see if the beam might be hitting the side of the cone on its way out. oh have you checked the lens to see if its clean and not cracked.ok u replaced lens oops I strongly suggest asking at Sawmill creek. These guys know more about lasers then any forum I've been on.

  9. Ok I no nothing about this subject. But it looks like you want to make the hide soft and you do this by working the hide back and forth over something. So here's a stupid Ideawhat if you threw the hide into a tumbler with some smooth stones and let it tumble for a while. Like I said I know nothing and it was just a crazy idea that popped into my head
  10. I would imagine any testing you do would have to take years for any significant results. You might find something that works , only to find a year ot 2 or 3 later it all falls apart.Good luck tho let us know what you find.

  12. That would depend on how high you set the power on the laser. Could be anywhere from light brown discoloration of the leather to a couple mm or more depth. A good dark black graving approx 1mm deep. this one less then a mm

  20. Ah yes your are correct the first pic is a Ruger. I stuck my P95 for a test fit LOL a Glock 22 and my P95 are close in size.The last pic's are with his Glock
