Couple ?s Is sewing holsters or knife sheaths with a jerk needle a acceptable way to sew them ? If so how do you finish the stitch ? theres like 2 videos on sewing with a Jerk needle and neither one shows how you finish off the last stitch. So do you just cut off the end threads and burn them down/ do you have back stitch at all , How do you finish them? Thanks oh 1 more ? Do you start on your finished side or the back side?

thanks I bought one about a year ago never opened it as I read a lot about how hard they are to get working right. So I thought I just sell it. As I don't have a lot of mechanical experience and no patience for things that aren't right out of the box LOL maybe I put it together and try it

I would suggest getting a basic leather working tool kit, then decide what you want to make and then watch some videos of people making those things. Maybe decide first then get the tools that you need to make what you want.
