  1. What works for me is to tip the beveler back to me and move it about 1/2 of its width . By tipping it back you create a slope away from you and by just using 1/2 the width I can " walk " it pretty good . Hope that helps
  2. Nice design and execution !!!!! Like the Pastor I often lose money on work for friends but it will all even out down the road
  3. I can't speak for @YinTx or @spacedog if you were asking them . But what I have done here is cut with a swivel knife except for the shape of the coaster which is also cut by hand , just a different knife .
  4. Those are NICE
  5. Nice job !! Maybe put your makers mark on the back ..... just a thought .

  8. @Stewart Thank you . @Fraulein Thanks . No link but wife got them at amazon . Those starter stamps come in handy sometimes .
  9. Looks fine !! I can't get the nerve to try a wallet . I like the USMC stamp
  10. @chuck123wapati You got me , but in my defense I do have a hard time with the light stuff . I didn't even try once I determined it needed to be out of heavier stuff . Here is some 8/9 and it will work much better plus I can kinda shine the edges .
  11. Not at all sure where this belongs or what to call it . Wife buys these acrylic photo holders and we have several . They are 3/4 thick ( 2 x 3/8 ) and work on magnets . So I got to thinking ................... if double caps would stick well then I could put some leather on them . Also makes 2 holders out of 1 ( yep , I am border-line genius ) wife just says I'm tight !! Needs a little heavier weight , this is 4/5 oz , and would work better I think .
  12. Here is mine . 8/9 oz veg
  13. VERY NICE work on both boxes and thank you for taking me along on this build !!!
  14. @327fed if you are running Windows , paint will resize very well . Use the pixel option not the percent , I can post several at 900x650 in one post . Assuming you use the Canon .
  15. Really nice job on the sheath !! I'm sure that tool does one job very well ....... I just don't know what that is
  16. Maybe contact the belt end down so not as much stress on the rivet ( it is just display right ? )
  17. Thinking outside of the box A+ looks great too !!
  18. This might be what you have , I don't know . https://www.mcam.com/en/products/shapes/engineering/tivar/tivar-eco-uhmw-pe
  19. Excellent idea Sir !!!
  20. No high tech steel , nothing slick about how they look but they work . best $18.00 dollars you'll ever spend So your Dad king of gave it a second chance , very nice !
  21. Old one I bought used 35/40 years ago got tossed ( sharpened almost enough to make it a fillet knife ). The blade thickness is thinner on these new ones but still Made in USA and high carbon so maybe it will be a good one . Made a sheath to help keep it sharp in the drawer .
  22. LOL !!!!! I had to look that one up but you're right I might could do pretty good on Dobby .
