  4. You know that is a good question. I don't vacuum form but I would think since you remove the air that any additional humidity wouldn't come into play , but the fact is I don't know . Will be interested to watch this one .

  8. I have a pair of Carharts that doesn't have a watch pocket ( not the pair in this pic ) so this is my work around . I know not many use a pocket watch anymore and I would guess some day you won't be able to find any brand still sewing them in their pants ......... the joy of getting old and outdated
  9. Glad you found something and look forward to the pictures .
  10. Bert , it's just a way to get ducks and geese out of the field . Open the loops and put there heads through and cinch it down , put the cuff on the back of your neck and let the birds hang in front of your shoulders . Some folks sling it like rifle sling and the birds are now front and rear , either way it's just frees up your hands .
  11. I lived in Co. for a little over a year and the town had a Canada Goose problem , they were every where . I also had a 24 lb Jack Russell that was my body guard ....... I left there unscathed
  12. What's that saying about necessity being the mother of invention ......... My saying is " in a bind ,use your mind "
  13. Yeah , waterfowl is not where one would want to " mis count " Last time I duck hunted we were on the point system but that was years back . If you were hunting any where that you could kill more than 6 birds the sliding loops would accommodate more .
  14. You deserve the " Outside the box " award for this
  15. Both very nice and will be cherished for years to come !!!!!!
  16. Might find what you are looking for here . https://www.springfieldleather.com/search?keywords=rossettes&page=1
  17. Thanks Well it is lighter and anyone who knows a couple of knots can do a repair if needed . If I were going to do one with leather straps I would make those individual straps that could be easily be changed out and be sure and use stainless D rings and copper rivets . I have seen some that were slit straps and if one ever broke .... well just not much you can do but live with it .
  18. for a buddy , about as simple as it gets .
