Exodus 20:5 I am referring to a image that I thought was meant to offer hope and to assure that God's love was always within reach . I may be mistaken and if so will answer on that day for it .

OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does kind of make you wonder when there was no more " shock value " , puts todays world in prospective I guess . Very nicely done Sir

Nice !!! I know we work in leather but a paracord Monkey's fist with a golf ball in place of a steel ball would slide right on through . My have to let security think it's a key chain or a closure for an umbrella or part of a purse . Maybe not as brightly colored as the one in this video . Just one more option

Thank you Sir ! @Stewart Thank you , the permanent marker works better than I thought it would . The color crown is going to remain yours as I don't see myself doing much of this . I haven't the patience !!!!! I have a few different religious things I do , crosses , dove of peace , and am trying to figure the best way to do the Hand of God .

That is cool and thinking outside of the box

@chuck123wapati That's great !! I can't wait to see those hides if ya keep them and turn them to stuff @doubleh Thank you ! I can see your point when folks do it to try and pass new stuff off as old , other than that I like the look of old . I have to look at it every morning in the mirror

Now that I look closer I see it is silver , still looks " slick " -
Thank you ! Thank you Sir !! Did you get the winters meat ? It will stay and if someone was worried they could use a little glue , but as you say it is not going to see any hard use . 2 1/2 " high and 4 " diameter ( mostly for jewelry , keys , potpourri, some ladies use it for face powder .

Thank you !! It is if you cheat like I do . This method is just faster and easier to me , I made a mess out of box stitching one or two so had to come up with something . Saddle stitch the ledger to the side while flat , then stitch up the ends . Bottom is just a tight friction fit .

@Stewart Thank you Sir ! But that is all dye except the leaves , those are permanent marker . I like the aged look of it as well ,now just to remember how I did it LOL !

Looks like good execution on the tooling just not my cup of tea . But that is why we have Chevy and Fords

Looks good !!! The black with white stitching is cool and the hardware really makes it pop .I carry a wheel gun but not many do any more . Your buddy should be very happy with that !!!!!! -
Here is the first one , I'll add the others as I get them done . Thanks for looking !!

@Simplejack1985 Thank you .

What dye did you use on the basket weave ? I LIKE that !!!

Nicely done . For the intended use the magnet was a stroke of genius

I like the ragged edge on the paper !!!
-
Nice , I like he green color and I'm kind of the other way on the stitches . I think the raised look adds to it and being as wear shouldn't be a concern I say skip the groove .

Don't know if this helps any but , this is how it has looked for me ever since I have been here . The topics bar has been on mine the whole time .

@Pappys Leather Got to thinking and I probably was not very clear on what I was trying to convey about the bevel on the blade . This will either be clearer or totally muddy the water , I am not known for my communication skills ! same leather and cased the same amount of time .... cut marked R was a single edge razor other marked S K is from swivel knife . I tried my best to cut with same pressure , used the same beveller again doing my best to keep every thing equal . My thinking is that the width of the "furrow " has more to do with how deep it looks than actual depth of cut ( or we would all be using scalpels ) . Cross section of blade I think makes a difference . This may all be so much hot air on my part , but I do want you to get it figured out

You are very welcome .

I think if you click on your avatar and then " view their activity " on the right side of the next page you can sse either all of your post or all topics you have started . I may not be understanding so I hope this helps .

Is your blade hollow ground ? If not I think you may be ready for a new one or at the very least a trip to the stones ..... but I may be totally wrong . Here in your pic it doesn't look like you have much bevel left , I enlarged about 300% Here is a normal picture of mine , but again they would be different if yours is hollow ground .

I didn't know that ,, I told him it was from WAY OUT in left field . As the kids say MY BAD
