Like others have mentioned snap & unsnap them numerous times & see if they loosen up.
You could also try a different brand of line 20 snaps & see if they are any better or worse.
@bruce johnson do you by chance got any pictures of that lattice/vertical lined beveler procedure you do? Or got a place I can go look?
Also who or what brand of vertical lined bevelers do I need to buy to accomplish this stamping/tooling procedure on the lattice basket weave?
Thanks I appreciate your knowledge & help.
Thanks for the info. Yeah that piece of leather I tooled was too wet when I stamped it.
So you say you take a vertical lined beveler & stamps the lined portion of the Barry King stamp to give it more depth & dimension.
Thanks. I will need to get them style of beveler stamps. As I got the checkered ones.
Thanks I thought that name looked familiar. Yeah he makes some nice stamps. I think he makes the chain link stamp I like as well.
Yeah I been looking at some of his stamps, he makes some nice stamps.
I think for me to get them stamps here to Kansas, they basically double in price.
He makes the dragon scale stamp I would like to have.
Thanks for the info & link.
Yes the Barry King Lattice stamp, Will get you turned & flip upside down & around. Lmao I was struggling this morning with it.
Great looking stamp thou.
Looks great! Nice work on the holster.
I think the oil will fade with time, & the holster will eventually darken to the same color over time/use.
Nice!!!
The Consew 206rb-5 sounds like quite the sewing machine. I'm almost wondering if I would get more use out of it over a Cobra Cass 4.
I have read that some people step down 1 needle size for a given thread size & they say their machine sews/performs better.
I get lost when it comes to the different needle series for different types of machines.
I appreciate your help & knowledge.
Wish sewing machines weren't so dang expensive.
Thanks.
Thanks Hags I'll look into it. I'm looking for a inch or so bigger stamp, with just my name & location. Or maybe they offer free design session & I'll get something fancy.
Thanks for the help.
Guys & gals who could I purchase a custom makers stamp from? Something I can set with a big maul? Preferably a stainless steel or brass constructed stamp.
What does something like this cost? $100+ dollars?
Any & all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
For your belt length, use a online belt length calculator. You will need to know all your pulley diameters before ordering a belt using a belt length calculator.
I was wondering if the 206rb-5 would handle 207 thread. Basically if it's got some wear the 206rb might sew with a 207 thread is what you are saying.
Thanks. I appreciate your input.
