Finally put an optic on my P365 XMACRO and decided I wanted to start carrying it.  So it needs a holster.  And a guy that makes holsters should carry something that shows off his skills.  And I had this stingray left from another project, so......

Wore it yesterday and it wears great.  And it's much lighter than my CZ75b.  Which is nice.  Main lesson learned was that HVAC snips are the trick for easily cutting stingray.  And this pic on Facebook got an order for the same holster for a standard P365.  So looks like I'll get one holster with the spine, 3 holsters, and one mag holder out of the rest.  Not bad.

That looks great! Did you stitch that by hand or machine? I’ve read stitching with a machine can push chips of the ray skin down into the hook-bobbin area? I have a lot of ray skin from years ago and I’ve still never used it. I’ve got a 365X that I’ve been  thinking about putting one of those sights on, I also have a CZ75B but I don’t carry it, it’s one of my most accurate handguns but it’s pretty heavy, if I’m going to carry a heavy gun I take my 1911. That holster you have there looks great!

Good job . . . I had a 365 for a while . . . sold it to my son . . . never ever could get used to it . . . been a 1911 guy since 1966 . . .  just cannot get the hands to say "Alright . . . this one is OK"

They always put up a fuss and ask where the gun is.

Ahhhh . . . such is life.

May God bless,

Dwight

Thanks.  It's a horizontal that snaps onto the belt.  2 straps with pull the dot snaps on the back.  Been using them for years and love the horizontal carry.

Thanks.  Handstitched.  I could see chips breaking and being an issue.  The sight is really interesting.  I like it.  It's not magic or foolproof but once you learn to find it it's a lot of fun.  I love my 75b but the weight was starting to be an issue.  Especially on the belt.  Shoulder holster was not as bad.

Thanks Jason, if and when I use it it’ll be hand stitched, I have a CB4500 and I’m pretty concerned about running sting ray thru it. I’ve had that CZ75 over 30 years now, a guy at a gun show had a military crate with about 50 of them new in the box, I think I paid $225.00 for it and it turned out to be one of my most accurate and fun guns to shoot.

Don't do holsters, (UK) but that is pretty and well done.

That's awesome. Did you dye the stingray like that?

The 365X and 365X macro have a different grip profile then the 365, it’s larger. When I got mine I handled a 365 and it was to small for me, the 365X feels completely different.

No.  I ordered it from PanAm Leather.

That is a beautiful holster and mag pouch combo. That stingray really pops. Great job.
