  1. Very nice looking straps Steve. I also didn't know you were in High River, I lived there from 1988 to 1996. Darc, which show is that in Kamloops? Ken
  2. Great looking clock Spencer, I'm very impress with the carving you have done and I believe your Grandmother will just love it. It's very refreshing to see the younger people taking an interest in leatherwork, and spending the time to practice and accomplish work such as your's, thanks for sharing. Ken
  3. Surfing the net tonight I hit a big wave and came across this site, it has 106 pages of information on pretty much everything to do with leather. There are tutorials, on many diferent things, and lots and lots of reading and pictures. Kingsmere Leathercraft Ken
  4. freak, that's a great idea, and they look good with that paint on them...also, that's a fine looking piece you're working on in the background of those pics, I'm thinking of my time well waisted in the late 60's early 70's...you'll be sure to post pics when you done that one. Also, I noticed in the second (middle) pic, what is that big black thingy? a meteorite? a rock? or just something freaky? LOL Ken
  5. Thers a fine custom satchel maker right here on this forum from New York. His name is Esantoro, and if you look him up in the members profiles, you'll be able to see his work. Ken
  6. Well kevin, I think you've outdone yourself this time. That's an awesome wallet and I have to agree, it's the best yet. I really like the contrasting colors of leather and the orangish thread, it really adds a whole lot of zing to the wallet. Great Job. Ken
  7. Welcome to the forum Johnny. That's a fine looking seat you did there, thanks for sharing. You will fit in just fine, and as you most likely know, everyone here is very friendly, and always willing to help out. Ken
  8. David, whether the seat is plain in detail or not, they are still works of art. I know once you fire up that compressor and air brush, you'll make them far from ordinary. Great job. Ken
  9. Clay, after reading this, I also found it very interesting. I did a Google and came up with this... TANNIN it's on the Brain Tan website. Ken

  14. Try an automotive type supply store, or Lee Valley Tools may have them. I also think that you can get them from Dremel, but smaller than bench top grinders. Ken
  15. Home Depot sells a product called "Goo be Gone" this is amazing stuff and it takes pretty much anything glued or gluey off of anything. And it even smells nice, and it's not toxic like most chemicals. Ken
  16. Azmal, I would say that you have cleared that bar by leaps and bounds, your work is as good as or better than anything I've seen in any movie. Keep up the great work, and thanks again for sharing. Ken
  17. Kevin, I never get mad...just even...LOL. It actually gives it a kinda barbed wire look, I must admit I would never have thought of doing something like that. But it does kinda grow on you. Ken
  18. Very nice indeed Cecil, I thinl he is going to love that for christmas. ken
  19. Kevin, you have to explain that lacing to me. Ken
  20. Johanna, the list does show up like it should, but when you try to look at the profile, you still have to use the back button. Sometimes you have to click it a few times to get the "whole" profile, as it does not always show everything. It all works real good with firefox though, just IE it has the problems. Ken
  21. From one Canuck to another....welcome to the forum. You will find that everyone here is very friendly and helpful, always willing to share knowledge and advice. Very nice looking work on your website. Ken

  24. I logged on using Firefox, and it worked fine, except that it still does not tally up how many times the profile was viewed. Also, with firefox, the fonts are all small and funny looking compared to IE and hard on my old eyes. Ken
  25. Very nice looking robert, I especially like the floral one. Is it just me, or is the keeper in the wrong place? Ken
