The edit function is only available for a short time, maybe a couple hours. So you did it the only way possible by adding photos in a subsequent post. Not so dense after all!
There are helps located here for resizing your photos. Also many more options on the web. Pleas post your photos here as requested in the marketplace rules.

You need to either quote the person you are replying to or tag the person like this, type @ symbol followed by the screen name of the user and pick it from the pop up list. Otherwise they may not receive a notice of your post. I assume you are replying to @Spepper Spepper will receive a notice now. Sepper, see the above post.
Make your turns after the needle has risen about a 1/4". Don't lift the presser foot so far that it releases the thread tension. And of course look at the above post.

You need to resize the photos to fit the restrictions here. See this thread for helps and suggestions. As well, lots of additional info on the web and tools for resizing photos.
Maybe the next photo is taking you over the limit. Try resizing to about 1024 x 768 pixels. That should produce files around 50k with adequate resolution for most screens and allow you to post a lot of photos in one go.
