    Bitone40.......if you did what you said you did..you dont use Brillo Pads.... use STEEL WOOL PADS.......Brillo pads has soap in them.

    Hello.... every body has there own way of doing things, here is mine. I always use Fiebings oil dye.(I was told that Tan-Coat will work the Best for Natural Leather) Then finish with Super Sheen... add a little Aussie , for a mellow shine.

    Skippy, i dont have a pattern but i do know the Gunbelt was made with a curvature to it.

    yes you can sew soles onto shoes .........i did. there is a mid sole and an outer sole that is sewn by hand useing a saddle stich. now ,i grant you your shoes might be this shape,but you can do what you asked.

    You did very well....did you keep up with the time it took to do the lacing ? how many feet of lacing did you use ? I do like the shape of the Billets.

    Nice looking sheaths.........For a Quick Finish for the sheathes you can use a Neutal Shoe Polish.

    for a second attempt you are on the right road. I would suggest that you buy the book at Tandy "Craft Tool Tech Tips". this will help you out a lots..... keep on tooling and you will become an expert.
