Hello.... every body has there own way of doing things, here is mine.
I always use Fiebings oil dye.(I was told that Tan-Coat will work the Best for Natural Leather)
Then finish with Super Sheen... add a little Aussie , for a mellow shine.
yes you can sew soles onto shoes .........i did. there is a mid sole and an outer sole
that is sewn by hand useing a saddle stich.
now ,i grant you your shoes might be this shape, but
you can do what you asked.
the inside of that Bag is very professional ..... a place for everything..........
also the Orential Rug is nice.... tell your wife she has great taste.
Now what is with that Ugly foot.
You did very well....did you keep up with the time it took to do the lacing ?
how many feet of lacing did you use ?
I do like the shape of the Billets.
DAVID . you have had a lot of folks look at your Bag and no one would leave a comment
about your "Man Bag".....i think you did very good. now if you had a sewing machine imagin
how many of these you could produce in a weeks time.
for a second attempt you are on the right road. I would suggest that you buy
the book at Tandy "Craft Tool Tech Tips". this will help you out a lots.....
keep on tooling and you will become an expert.
