    Hobby Tom when i do the edging, i ues a pc of felt or a pc of firm sponge. keep the felt or sponge square to the belt edge and go S L O W . hang in there you"ll get it........ if you use the daubber, it will overlap the edges of the belt and that is when things get messy when you are doing edge work.

    yes i use supersheen on the front also.

    use the Lexol product if that don't work for you, hang it back in the closet.. "things just dont last unless one takes care of them on a regulsr basis".

    I leave mine natural, just put super sheen on it and burnish the edges, after sewing the pcs together.

    your rivets are probably too long. try the next size shorter.post should be 1/16 " above the leather.

    The same thing happened to me, last week sewing a holster. I did use some thicker leather than i should have, but i was not going to re make it. i recased the holster and used some thread lube and put a new needle in the machine finished sewing and did have to smoothe the tracks up. and yes this was Tandy leather also...
