  10. Hi as it says in the title, I live in the UK in the north wales area but can travel into shropshire/manchester/lancs/midlands areas without too much difficulty, and was wondering if there was anyone out there who gives classes in leatherworking,I am keen to improve on my machine sewing, and also tooling techniques, I make things for motorcycles as a hobby at the moment but would like to begin selling stuff in ernest and feel I could improve with some mentoring. Cheers JJ. samples of my work can be seen here- www.bat-shadow.jigsy.com

  18. Hi, thanks for the compliments on my lacing,Because the tool roll is a fairly large item I.E. 12"long x 5" diameter I have used a 5MM{3/8ths} lace with the holes punched at the same size and the wheel i use does 6 holes to the inch so yeah they will be aprox 3/8ths apart,I use the brass Jumbo Perma Lok needle with the screw in end for the lace but i have tapered it to a point for easier access to the holes. Though i will say its a real PITA doing those end pieces n getting all the holes to line up properly LOL!! I hope this helps you in some way and look forward to seeing some of your work, laters, JJ
