  1. http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/eddie-bauer-tamarack-2-room-family-dome-tent that is the link to the tent and description......did I mention it is brand new? will take 150 shipped in the US only
  2. Now I know that I can do with that big box of shearling scraps besides using it for staining! Do you have any pics of how you do it?
  3. Very nice work
  4. Ok, a little more detail.... The tent is an Eddie Bauer Tamarack 7 person dome tent with screen porch The guitar is a Yamaha FD01S acoustic
  5. I am cleaning house so to speak. I have a few items for sale and thought I would offer them on here first. I will be posting pictures soon. Here is a partial list: Eddie Bauer Tent...6 person...never opened or used Harley jacket size large Black leather motorcycle chaps leather motorcycle vest Yamaha guitar with gig bag, some books and tuner....bought and never learned how to play send a message in PM if interested and I will get pics up as soon as I can. Will also have more to list as it comes up. Anything not selling soon will go on Ebay, but like I said, I wanted to offer to my favorite people first. Thanks, Mike

  8. Are you the Official ambassador of chat or not? one minute you are and the next your not! But the sling is really sweet!!
  9. very nice. is this hand or machine stitched?
  10. the feibings acrylic dye will work but will usually take more than one coat
  11. looks to be an oblong punch hole you can get a punch for that or punch 2 holes and cut the part in between out to make it like that
  12. That looks like oil tan or upholstery leather
  13. The tools will not imprint as well on a soft backing. Also putting up a pic of the leather will help us see what kind of leather you are working with. Some leathers are not good for stamping on.
  14. Great a piece of granite or marble. It will make a BIG difference!
  15. Let me see if I can do a pic of a recent project and I will try to explain it In the bottom right of the reply area, there is a tab with "more reply options" click on that and then click "add file" and it will allow you to post a picture
  16. The plastic on top will amplify the noise, pound directly on top of the granite. The thickness might have something to do with it but it could also be the type of leather. Might look up "casing leather" post to help understand the casing technique. I use a folded towel under my granite to dampen noise.......between that and my guns, the neighbors don't complain much!
  17. Can you post a picture of the leather in question? Include the edge in the pic. Are you "casing" the leather? It needs this moisture to soften it and allow for easier tooling. Hope this helps Mike
  18. very nice............I want a lacemaster....wish I could find a used one!!
  19. Tandy Leather has some free patterns on their website................just type "free" in the search bar
  20. I have not seen or used one. However the literature says will work on 12 volt with an inverter. Will also, as stated in their literature, see 9/10 of an inch thick of leather.
  21. I would call them..........their website doesn't have all their stuff on it. 1-888-803-3030 They have knowledgeable people there and will help you get what you need
  22. I used to have a similar machine to the Torchmate. Haven't thought about using the CNC program (I still have that). gives me ideas though.
