  2. You can also use olive oil and it might not darken it as much.....worth a try anyway.........Works well from what I have been told by others
  3. The Harley saddlebags with a horse on them gives me an idea..................nice work btw
  4. Plastic maybe?? Isn't that taking vegan to the extreme though? I mean even plastic is made from oil byproducts......which was originally an animal form at one time. Just saying!!

  10. Thanks for posting this Johanna. I look forward to reading all you put on here.
  11. You could try a rollaway cart with racks for the tools and drawers for the other items. Mainly get something that keeps it all in an organized fashion that works for you. I am a Travel Nurse and all my stuff goes in 3 plastic boxes till I get where I am going. Then the tools come out and the other stuff stays in boxes till I need it. I have one box for tools and dyes, another for books and patterns and a third for the leather. My sides stay in the shipping box until I need it also. Not a perfect situation but it works for now.
  12. Have you tried the contact cement from Barge? I believe it also comes in a small container to help minimize the mess and has an applicator bottle. All I can think of of the top of my head. that is another great suggestion Beaverslayer!!!
  13. LCI used to make it for Tandy.........but since they went eco friendly they stopped carrying it and it is now made and sold under the names Clear Lac and Wyosheen. That is the shrt version...lol
  14. I use Clear Lac from Sheridan outfitters and I think Springfield leather carries something similar (WyoLac I think). Block out is water based and I haven't had any luck with it either. Also the Super Sheen is just a protectant for a top coat...not much good for resist in my experience.
  15. Just remember that pig stretches a lot. Glue it down good.......other than that I can't think of anything........Post pics when done!!
  16. I have Bill's number and I can't wait to meet him............good words my friend!!
