I Have an order for a mens wallet. With a striped bass comming out of the water, on one side of the wallet. A boat on the other side. Does anyone have,or know where to get a pattern of such? I have something like it in Stolhman figure carving book. But not a stripped bass. ANY HELP would be appreacated.

TAZ, You've used the low voc by fiebings ????If so, how did they work compaired with the regular dye & pro dye ?Ok taz I see your other post about the low voc dye . THAT ANSWERS MY QUESTION !!!

I was reading on the net last night, that the spirt base dyes will stop being produced in the near future. It's an enviroment issue. Has anyone heard about this? If so I'll have to stock up on my Fiebings Pro & regular dyes!

Kani, I use ebay quite often,both to buy,and sell. Over the years I had one or two problems, but I also use paypal, and they got my money back. All n all, I would recomend it, just be carefull, and use paypal if you can.

Im carving a wild rose design on a womans wallet. I need some imput about the correct (which looks best) way of placing the vainer tool ? Ex: should the vainers contour be UP or DOWN ? I think there is no right or wrong, I just need some sugestions on this topic. Your HELP is as always greatly appreacated.

I just came across this thread today, I use feibings neutral antique, mixed with acrilic white(cova dye etc.). Put a good coat of resist on the black, then antique as usual, but not too much antique mixture. It always worked for me. I could post a photo if necessary. Hope yhis helps.

I have a question???? I have some older leather. It's still good to use. I know Lexol works great, I'm making hatbands from the leather. QUESTION is: should I dye first, then lexol. or lexol than dye. Im dying black, no tooling. Thanks, all help welcome
