  1. pepin, Thats a great lookin knife sheath ! ! ! The carving is nice & deep. I like the way you did the belt loop in the back. How long have you been carving leather? Where do you come from? Nice to have you on the forum. Post some more of your work.
  2. Does anyone have, or know where I can find patterns for Sheridan billfolds. I just made the interior for the billfold,& I want to carve the back in the Sheridan style. The only Sheridan I've carved was a mantle clock, I love the Sheridan style. Clay Miller has a real nice Sheridan billfold on his web site, for example. Any HELP would be greatly appreceated. craftsman827
  3. Very NICE Wood ! Where did you get the pattern for the belt ? Is it a craftaid, from a book, or one of your own. I would love to carve one for myself. Yours Looks GREAT !!!

  6. Freak, It's made with one piece of wood for the backing, & 0ne piece of leather folded & tacked to the wood. I have the measurements at work, which I go back to on Saturday. If you want any measurements I'll be happy to give them to you, when I get back to my shop on Saturday. By the way, I got the pattern from an old issue of "Make it with leather" It was from the craftool corner by Gene Noland,Which was in every issue in the 1970's.. I'll get the exact issue or I can scan & copy & post,we'll see.

  9. Here is a new matchbox holder I just completed. It's an order, the one on the left is an old one thats in my house. The one on the right is the order. I can't seem to locate the hanger I used on the original one, It was 10 years ago. DOES ANYONE Know where to get one????? I know O.T.B. & Weaver has D-ring with clip attached.Which is what I'll wind up using. I would like to use the original one which I purchased in a craft store 10 years ago, can't seem to find it now. Any help would be apprecated ..
  10. Marlon, where do you get your roo skin for your lace? Very nice work, by the way ! I do a lot of lacing , never used roo yet, I here it's the best. But very expensive, thats why I would cut my own.

  12. WOW they are here,my prizes from the 1st ever oak leaf carving contest. I was like a little child yesterday when I went to the mail box. When I seen the package from ND, I knew it had to be the PRIZES. I ran up to the house to show the wife like a little boy. I had to write to thank you all, Thank you Clay,Joanna, & the whole team at this GREAT site !! The prizes will be used till there worn out.They are greatly appreceated. This is the best site for the leatherworker bar none. Lets all: keep up the good work

  20. I've been buying from Zack White for many years. Not soley , among others. I've always been satisfied with there service, & assortment of products. Thanks for shairing those photos. I would love to visit them in person,But would MAX out my credit card !!! Another good place, not as large an inventory is : S-T Leather. There $ prices are very low ,CHECK THEM OUT ALSO... I'm in New York, New Jersey area, There is very few stores we have now. Use to have 5 Tandys, & others, no more. I guess the rent is too high. Anyway thanks for the GREAT ZACK PHOTOS.....

  23. GREAT WORK ! ! ! ! The color looks great. Your tool work is " on the money ". Is that your first time using the gel ? I use the OLD FEIBINGS . Just scrubbed off my hands. You do some fine work Wolf !
  24. VERY NICE ! ! ! Love the dye job on the purse. Is that dye, or acrlic ?? ALL the pieces are great. The bass coloring looks realistic !
