  1. Instead of wet paper, try this:Tracing Film It's waterproof, and it'll last forever( so far) I bought 10 yards 5 years ago, and I haven't put a dent in it. Use the stylus and see the difference.
  2. Looks good from where I'm sittin'
  3. Looks good Don, basket weave is nice and straight, nice color. That slicker looks familiar too, lol
  4. Mike, I think Crystal nailed it. Electric water heaters are pretty simple creatures, and since you've replaced the other electrical components, the elements are the next logical step. Do you have well water? It could leave deposits on them that will build up, creating the problem you've described. If nothing else, pull them to check.
  5. Those punches need to be sharpened, polished, and stropped. Start with 400 grit wet/drysand paper, then 600, then you can strop it. Hidecrafters has a George Hurst video explaining it much better than I can, but I hope you get the idea. And like Russ said, metal hammers are taboo!
  6. I think it looks good. I'm assuming it's lined?
  7. Count me in, Holly. The last ones were fun!

    Flowers and vases

They look great. What did you use for the center of the lily?
  10. Awesome work, Anne. I too like the first one best, the handle looks sharp.
  11. Quick and simple: http://www.wickett-craig.com/ Even their #3 sides are sweet
  12. For tiny corners use a tiny brush, Donnie
  13. I've wondered that myself, Slick. I'm a 6'1" 295 lb carpenter, so I swing a mean hammer, but i've never felt the need to hit a stamp that hard. Now these explanations are putting it in perspective, thank you.
  14. Looks good, BD. A little more patience on the barbed wire, and you'll be fine.
  15. I like them. Kind of like mood lighting, with a kick.
  16. Thank you all for the compliments. Leatherman, they had it spent before they even got it! Red Beard,I was wondering if anyone would notice them! I get my chains from a guy named Hawkwolf- http://www.hawkwolfs.com/ Do you make wallet chains? Have a web site?
  17. Hilly, to me it looks like the main flowers are done with a seeder and swivel knife, and in the leaves, maybe a hidecrafters pro-series PD011. Let's see how close I am, lol.
  18. My boys live in Cape Cod, about 6 hours away from me, so seeing them for the holidays isn't easy. I usually just mail them each a check( I know, real personal, right?) so this year, I decided to make them both something to hold all that money, lol. Sorry for the blurry one, I took 3 different ones, all blurry, gave up. All critique welcome.
  19. That's pretty slick, James.
  20. Welcome, Wizard. I can attest to the fact that lighter fluid burns really suck, I've had them more than once myself. Be careful around here, this place is truely addicting!
