  1. Well, I know this is a champagne problem but, now I have to make room for more tools, materials, and a 3200. The Lord just keeps blessing me. So, the room is going to revert back to topsy turvy for a minute.
  2. Beautiful work, Mike. You give us all something to aspire towards.
  3. Cool, thanks @LatigoAmigo.
  4. I used photo resizer from Google play store when I had my Android. Just reduce them 50%. Can't seem to find that app for Apple.
  5. @NVLeatherWorx we really need a like button.
  6. This belt has a lot going on. It is really cool.
  7. Now I'm even more intimidated by your skills. Lol.
  8. You can have it, I'm not much on real Italian.
  9. Pics will come when I finish. Hehehe
  10. I messed up tonight by working too late. It is plenty fixable and I didn't cut myself, but the whole time I was trying it.... I kept thinking this is stupid. Yep, I wanted to finish it tonight.
  11. Great job. They look good enough to go to town in....
  12. Ha! I have a card wallet that houses 2 knives I never use.
  13. @NVLeatherWorx you are pretty close and this looks like a steal!!! Why do I not live closer?
  14. Oh my, I have to say I was so relieved to keep reading and see that the pounding pad was not the tooled portfolio. Lol It all looks great and it looks like you're having fun. That's the important part. Keep it up.
  15. I would be more apt to pull them out if I had an actual shop, but I don't. I work in the field mostly and it is hard to keep nice tools nice. Our "woodshop" area at work doubles as a multifunction room. Littered with rolls of Formica from the contractor guy that does that for us, constant shoe molding painting, machine repair, thinset storage, and transition staining. It's always a hot mess and you never know where your material is going to wind up.
  16. You're addicted, my friend.
  17. Having fun is definitely the key. I don't think a cheap set from Amazon or eBay is a bad investment in the beginning. You'll learn what you want to use more of and what to replace and more importantly what not to replace when you move up to the more expensive ones. Also, as you move up in the world keep in mind the quality of leather is also extremely important. Good luck and keep having fun.
  18. Looks great. I just got their double set of new stainless steel delve squares. Been scared to even take them out of the box. I even hid them out at work.
  19. @Uwe you crack me up. My Chinese is a nonstarter. Hahahaha
  20. I use something else to get them started. Go to the tool box or hardware store and find a large nail set or punch. You may have to take a grinder to it, but here is the just. You need something to start the mushrooming effect on the post. I have two old Osborne tools that I use. The end of them kind of looks like a spinning top that kids play with. I have no idea what their true purpose is for, but they work great at fixing the problem you are having. #iknowyourpain
  21. There are 2or 3 vintage knives for sale in the for sale section.
  22. That looks great. I have a "hunter model?" That I found somewhere that I am making a non factory style sheath for.
